Good Practice for Calm and Stress
This is a nice meditation for one experiencing anxiety, or for one that just needs to slow down from a stressful day. This practice had a slight pause in between the in breath and out breath which is great for calming the sympathetic branch of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) thereby activating the parasympathetic branch. This process helps my ANS to slow down, along with those pesky anxiety or stress symptoms. I appreciate how this instructor gradually went up on both the in breath and out breath, keeping them at the same level for much of the meditation. To me, this is a more efficient practice than having a short in breath and longer out breath (i.e. 4-7-8 breath practice). Why? The meditator is not focused on breathing in enough air to pause, and then, have an extensive out breath. I will definitely come back to this one!

When you're stressed to the max.
This session is very great to use whenever you're under maximum of stress from work, person issues, school or even life itself. Sometimes during the day we all do need take a breather to release out the stress and tension.

When in doubt take a deep breathe and try and relax. I have a lot on my shoulders from present worries, friendships and commitment such as uni are draining me and the pending thought of being jobless and helpless. I’m so stressed that some times I forget to breathe

Self awareness
Self conscious is crucial for self esteem.. time can reveal possibilities and having time for yourself gives the sense of that awareness you need to create.. indulge more and fill in the gaps ... Give yourself to imagination ...Breathe.. every breath count .. no matter how hard and stressful your life is... you always have your breath...

Just breathe
Taking a moment to do some deep breathes really helps you relax and calm your mind. I was stressed as heck because of school work and after this exercise, I feel a lot better. So yeah, just breathe dude, you’ll be okay.

Relief after this meditation!
I learned that. There a a magical effect to taking a breather. In the middle of your busy day. Or at the beginning of your morning. Or even at the end of a long hectic day..... by bed time. So even though looking at it in the beginning thinking it wouldn’t work. Just let go of that feeling. And follow your guided meditations with blind faith that they will always work.

I learned that breathing helps. The 4 5 6 5 4 technique made me focus on the breathing rather than the thoughts that occupy the brain. Also the thought of the breath of air cleansing the brain helped to clear out negative thoughts.

I have learned that this is just a job.
I should stop stressing about a job. Because it is literally just a job. Teaching is just a job. It’s not who I am. No job should consume your every thought. The stress of it shouldn’t reduce you to tears every night. You shouldn’t dread going to work every morning to the point of fear. I am done with allowing this job to crush my soul.

Breath - Prana
Your breath is always there for you- is a new revelation for me- a deep and simple way of reminding oneself of one’s Prana - the life giving air AND the spirit sustaining Cosmic energy. If ā€˜God’ cannot be remembered always as a friend beside (which is quite difficult anyway) , the next- best Prana can be easily remembered always. That’s what I learnt, friends! God bless.

Having a busy busy morning today, just 10:00 and I've been up, out and moving since about 7...stopped by my lawyer’s office to drop off papers, hit the grocery store, visited my mother-in-law, even picked up frou-frou coffee from.that mermaid place. Now just a couple hours off before heading out again for the afternoon! You know? For a guy who is disabled, I sure do manage to keep pretty busy!

Taking a breather
Perfect timing for this session! New year’s eve has always meant taking a breather to me, a pause for reflection, for introspection, for giving thanks and living in the moment, mindful of the miracles that present themselves each and every day if I can just learn to see them... Fogbird The quiet dripping on the forest floor pops and crackles as she cleans her wings. I cannot see her but I know she’s right there. The flutter of her wet feathers gives her away as she flies lightly from branch to branch, creating a cascade of staccato droplets each time she lands. Does she know what today is? Does she have any sense of the passing of time? Of the importance of milestones? Of just how very quickly it all goes by, in the blink of an eye?

Joy
True Joy comes from being still without the white noise of the world. For example, News, Social Media, Phones, Tablets, etc. I’m the #1 offender of the above. Stillness, breathing, allows me to experience the beauty of the present. This feeling is so phenomenal nothing compares to being fully engaged in the immense joy of mindfulness.

I need a breather
As my life seems to be continuing on a hectic path, I need to make sure I take the time I need to calm my thoughts. My breath is always with me to allow me the space sit and simply slowly breathe in and out for a few moments as I need to; making sure I take those moments as what can be challenging.

Needed A Breather
Today has been one of those nonstop days where my to do list has been full. I have been looking forward to my late afternoon session to take a few minutes to ā€œjust beā€. It is a beautiful afternoon here which I decided to enjoy this session sitting outside in my backyard. I really enjoyed this meditation. I liked that there was less guidance with it to be able to appreciate the silence around me. This meditation brought me back to feeling refreshed, grounded, and ready to get back to my day. I will definitely listen to this one again.

I need to take a breather
I was feeling very stressed, anxious, and crabby. Overwhelmed. My mind was racing. I learned that I found peace by breathing white healing light into my mind, letting it gently fill my mind, crowding the busy-ness out of my mind, so I could push that busy-ness out, and release it with my exhale. I did this many times before I started to feel better, but I just kept going, relaxing into the repetition. Now I feel calm. I feel gratitude for this peace. Thank you.

Perfect for quarantine
Since the virus, I have been trapped in a very non-welcoming household due to my differences...and it’s awful. I’ve grown to be lonely, and very depressed because of the lack of acceptance in these confusing times. Not only do I have the virus to worry about, but I also worry about my day to day life, and future family fights I’d much rather avoid. I cannot move out just yet, but I’m working hard towards it. But...despite me being lonely, at least I have myself, and I know I love myself. I’m deserving of peace, and so are you, the Perosn reading this. It’s difficult, but I know you can push through, too. This little breathing exercise is one of many things we can do for ourselves when we are feeling alone or stressed. A beautiful meditation, thank you for posting! Take care and stay safe, everyone!! 🧔
