It involves acknowledging our mistakes or shortcomings, taking responsibility for our actions, & choosing to release ourselves from the burden of negative emotions & self-judgment. Affirmations can be a powerful tool for self-forgiveness because they help us to reframe our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves. By repeating positive statements to ourselves, we can shift our focus away from self-criticism & towards self-compassion, self-love & self-acceptance - For ourselves & others.
