This meditation helps us to step back into the "observer" mode - our state of awareness that is grounding and centering because it is constant and broader than the fleetingness of our human thoughts, emotions and sensations.

I am . . .
More than my thoughts & emotions. I am human. I am loving & lovable. I am smart & creative. I am forgiving. I am hope. I am kind. I am sensitive. I am empathetic. I am faithful. I am loyal. I am trusting & trustworthy. I am learning. I am fragile. I am precious & beautiful. Most of all, I am me. That is enough and all the world needs.

Awareness
I am the awareness that surrounds me body and mind. I may have thoughts, but I acknowledge them and move in. Not acting on them is not being judge mental of my judgmental thoughts. I just acknowledge they are there. Wow!

Thought provides emotion, awareness of thoughts triggers out awareness of emotions, and helps me to accept its and acknowledge that my emotions are not me.

I am not my Thoughts
Today, I experienced unpleasant emotional pain caused by fear, judgment, and unresolved issues. I realize I am not these things, I am a soul in a damaged vessel and I am learning to heal. I am me, I am not my thoughts or my feelings.

Be human
Our mind, soul, and body can do many things. Being aware and in touch with them is important. You might not have a great day or you could be overwhelmed with tasks that need to be complete, but it’s okay because you’re aware. It’s human because life’s not perfect.

Judgment Free
I liked the idea that there is no need to judge our judgments. Also, wondering, when I thank myself for taking time, do I say “Thank you, self” or “Thank me”?

Judging my judgements.
At least i got to be a judge. Always be positive. Being aware allows me to reflect myself and my judgment. Another lesson learnt.

I learn to remember that I Am.
With the holiday season upon has and other forces of stress at play made me anxious. Today meditation helped me to step back, breath and become aware of feelings and energy that was surrounding my very being. Before the exercise I felt as if in were being swallowed up but after the calmness swept over and replaced the anxiety.

So powerful to use the phrase “I am the awareness” in relation to thoughts, feelings and sensations rather than being them or them all consuming me.

Heart and Mind
I learned that to become well aware of what were given we had a choice for us to do it or not to do it. If we become well aware though recovery was hard eventually that will be reachable and achievable by means of deeper understanding of what went wrong and simply change it to become good. Goodness will just flow and the resentments will no longer sink in. Trying the first step and saying to yourself, "I'll do my very best!"

I am the awareness
Being the awareness for my body, my emotions, and my thoughts is truly different and more than being my body, my emotions, and my thoughts. It’s a good way to separate, then try to understand that separate awareness that is the essence of me. Namaste

Being aware...
I am the awareness of my sensations, emotions, ideas, and judgements, relating to them with curiosity and wonder, gives me an instant sensation of well-being, a feeling of gratitude, an idea of honesty, of being centered, being me.

I am the awareness
It’s fine when a thought pops in my head that is unwanted. My head is a corridor, I can stand in there way and let myself block and focus on them, or I can move aside and let them pass

I am ...
Good stuff for today. I am not my worry, I am only aware of my emotion of worry. I am not just my sadness, I am only aware of my sadness. My truths are but my own, not universal. I am not right in any profound way, I just am.

Today I decided to do a little stretch while i listened to this. It helped me feel so much better to stretch and become aware of what needed to be stretched and to breathe and come to realization that I can finally relax from a long day of work.

I am not my side effects
This was a great meditation for today. I am having some unpleasant side effects due to cancer treatment and have felt upset about it. I replaced the words in this meditation reminding me that they don't define me and I am still a full soul on the inside. Reminds me of a wonderful conversation I had with a hospital chaplain!

I Am the Awareness
My thoughts, sensations, and emotions do not define who I am but only my awareness of them. Sometimes my awareness peaks with physical pain but I must remember that I am more than this pain. Focusing on my breath really helps my brain choose to also focus elsewhere, thus allowing my mind and body to relax. Yea!☺️🙏🏻

Meditation relieving stress
I learned that... all the stress and homework from school doesn't make who I am. It's ok to miss some assignments in order for my mental health to increase and get good sleep.

View yourself holistically...
Bird’s eye view: see yourself for who you are, not just one specific flaw or asset, but as a whole human being Don’t judge yourself for what you think and feel, just be aware of it and know that it is natural

Not tonight....
I think sometimes these body scan sessions seem to make my aches and pains worse, only because I focus on body parts (joints mostly) that are hurting, and then I can’t seem to unfocus. If that makes sense. Maybe I should leave the body scan meditations for non-flare day’s.... ah the joys of rheumatoid arthritis...

I am the awareness.
I am the awareness of my own life. Be present. Aware that my thoughts come and go. My feelings are valid but come and go. I am aware that I am enough.

Aware
I need to be aware of my feelings and my emotions. Never running from them or putting feelings off. By acknowledging them and accepting them, I can learn how to deal with the feelings and emotions once they arise in my body and mind.

It is difficult to be « the awareness »
Awareness of breathing, sensations in the body, noises outsides (birds singing, cat breathing close to me), pains or pleasurable feelings was easier than letting myself become the awareness of experiencing thoughts like duties, critiques. I am not sure I understand yet how to detach the awareness of the experience rather than letting the thoughts form fully and intrude. I think I was able to separate the thought that I had recently been lazy from feeling that I was lazy; because I realized that the activities and actions that led me to that feeling were in fact a kind of stratagem to « buy myself time » or a strateg to avoid finalizing a difficult decision.

Awareness
I really loved stepping outside myself and see that she is right. I am the awareness. I was finally able to just observe my breathing. That has been challenging for me. I noticed I was always controlling it in some way or not really paying attention to it. I couldn’t quite get to the point of just observing it. I am the awareness and more than the thought or emotion, as she said in the meditation, in each moment. I really felt connection happen during this meditation. Very refreshing. 😊

Awareness
"I am apart of an awareness that is more than my fleeting thoughts and emotions" This is a pretty helpful phrase for someone with anxiety. It allows you to feel as though you have control in a situation that can feel very chaotic. Grateful for these words 🙌🏽

I am aware
But awareness doesn’t bring ease or acceptance. I am having a terrible day today, with nothing seeming to go correctly for me. I’m upset. I’m angry. I’m lashing out. I need a freaking nap. I’m cranky as all get out. 😡😡😡😡

Experiencing...
I am the awareness that is experiencing... Such a powerful phrase to separate us from our fickle feelings and energized emotions. I am not the negative thoughts that surface from time to time. I am the one observing the negativity flowing thru me from time to time. So I say to myself and/ or out loud: “I am the awareness that is experiencing the negativity flowing thru me and choose to let it flow away from me.” Do not allow yourself to get hung up on what is bad, what is wrong and who can I blame? Instead choose to become the awareness of these things and then change your focus to start to become the awareness of what is good, what is right and what needs done? Beneficial thoughts become beneficial actions that bring beneficial results. Start to become the awareness that experiences all the good in the world... ❤️👁🍀

Stepping Back
We are all connected to an awareness that is constant and is much more than our fleeting thoughts and emotions. In this powerful meditation, Jaisa has us step back and become the observer of our body, emotions and thoughts. Stepping back and becoming the observer, I began to take notice of my body breathing. Performing a body scan, I began to take notice of the sensations in my body. Stepping back, I began to take notice of my emotions. Stepping back, I began to take notice of my thoughts. Stepping back and being an observer gives us the ability to become unattached to what we may be experiencing in any moment. In this way, we can allow our sensations, emotions and thoughts to just flow through us, without allowing them to take control over us. This is a very powerful lesson! The next time we find ourselves experiencing negativity in any form, we need to step back and remember the phrase, “ I Am the Awareness of Experiencing...” and we can walk through life’s ups and downs without being affected either way! Thank you, Jaisa! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
