I can see myself using this in meetings. I am here now. This will help me center myself when a meeting starts going weird which is too often these days.

This was an easy, centering meditation. A good meditation for those moments when our mind travels down multiple paths at once, to calm and center ourselves during the day, or even before beginning a longer meditation.

There is something about birthdays that invite you to reflect, explore and review all that has happened in the last 365 days. And say, wow, that happened. I did that. No matter what has come before this moment, it is exactly what needed to happen in order to be here today. That, in and of itself can be eye opening... or unsettling. Those thoughts can cloud the mind.. allow us to ruminate and take us away from the present moment. I am open to receiving what will be today. I am here now. And there's no place I'd rather be.
