Since practicing meditation regularly a couple years ago, I wasn’t aware of how much tension I carried in my body. I believed it was natural.
I constantly tried to cram more into a day and the barrage of endless information never allowed my mind and body to rest.
My body finally screamed out to get my attention my attention because all of this negative energy had to go somewhere. I decided to “unplug”.
Without the constant stream of catastrophic events hyped by the media, scrolling through Facebook comparing my life to others and the push for mass consumption I felt more at ease.

This happens so rarely that it is extremely uncomfortable and disheartening. Nothing but sad, sad news has been coming my way both yesterday and today. I am dealing with it all in the best ways available to me. It seems never-ending and I know better than that. I am normally a very upbeat person. I do not enjoy this extreme inability to move forward. I want to change things that I cannot; I want to aid people and I cannot. All I am actually able to do is give it to God with the realization that He has a plan and that everything that is happening is occurring according to His plan. I am just so darn uncomfortable today that it is almost immobilizing. I am grateful to have the Aura meditations.
