Alongside the Bible's many messages of love, forgiveness and openness to others -- it actually has a lot to say about the usage of discernment and boundaries. God created boundaries between all things, and as Christians we are guided to use boundaries when appropriate in our lives. Boundaries are important, and when exercised with love and awareness they are an integral part of the Christian walk.
