Love & Acceptance
Why is it that we are our own worst critic? Could it be that we tend to look to others for love and acceptance instead of receiving it from ourselves? We cannot truly receive love from others until we give it to ourselves.
One great way to receive love and acceptance from ourselves is by repeating affirmations. By repeating affirmations for at least 21 days, we begin to Feel a certain way, which results in us Behaving in a certain way. By behaving in a certain way, we find that the love that we’ve been searching for has been with us all along.
Giving ourselves love, we find value in our life. We are more prone to setting healthy boundaries. Thus, people will not be allowed to walk all over us. Accepting ourselves for who we are, we don’t worry what others may think about us. We also learn ways to quiet down that inner critic.
Repeating these beautiful affirmations, I choose to love myself. Repeating these beautiful affirmations, I choose to accept myself for who I am. Filled with love, I choose to live with an open heart wherever I go. Filled with peace, I will have patience wherever I go. Filled with kindness, I will do little acts of kindness wherever I go.
