Breathe, Grounding
I liked the part where he says breath is the bridge between the body and mind and by focusing on the breath we can regain control. Life is short and we should enjoy our breaths.
The importance of breathing
I learned the important role briefing plays in helping people to stay grounded in the present moment. Focusing on the breath, has three benefits in terms of helping people calm down and stay present. The first is that focusing on the breath reminds us that every living thing breaths therefore focusing on the breath helps people to appreciate the simple act of breathing. Secondly, although breathing is an automatic function automatic function, the speed and depth of breathing can be altered they excited or stressed emotional states. Conversely focusing on slowing down breathing in times of stress or excitement relaxes and grounds of mind. Finally, focusing on breathing is impossible to do when one is focused on the past or the future. Thus, focusing on the breath requires a person to stay in the present moment. For these reasons , being aware of and focusing on the breath can be affective as a method of self grounding I am grateful to those who work for this app we’re putting this track together. Thank you also for teaching me how and why I should use the breath to ground myself. I will definitely take the lessons of this practice into account, when I feel the need to stay grounded in the future . I appreciate the community on this app for taking the time to read this post. I hope you are all OK, happy , and well.
I listened to this while in bed and noticed that my feet wanted to be on the ground. While I focused on my breathing, my feet curled while my body felt at ease, as if they were ready to be/get grounded.
