Holding Presence
In any given moment, there is beauty unfolding all around us. In the spring, lush green vegetation explodes across the landscape. Summer brings us long days of daylight for our various crops to reach to their highest potential towards the sky. Fall is the time when life reveals its spectacular true nature to us and winter gives us a pause to notice the stillness of life. As we walk through the seasons of life, it is important to hold presence to all that is occurring around us. When we find ourselves having unwanted emotions where our heart feels heavy, recurring thoughts or moments of overwhelm, we need to implement being an observer. Being an observer, we take a step back, not literally as in physically, but emotionally. Taking a step back from the emotional charge of the moment gives us time to reset and focus on aligning our heart and mind so we are better able to access the situation. Taking a break to unplug from technology gives us time to access our life. We find solace in our breath, allowing us to open to and enjoy the simple joys of life. Taking a break to look out a window or actually move to the outdoors expands our mind, reminding us that we are all connected to nature. In any given moment, presence gives us an opening to the Now, allowing us to appreciate what we become witness to. Whether we are still for some time or consciously moving from place to place, we will always be surrounded by beauty when we align with our heart. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
