This story is about how to catch monkeys in the jungle and a powerful lesson in learning what keeps us trapped and the importance of letting go.

Silly monkey
Like the monkeys trapped in the jungle, I need to.learn to let things go. Stop dwelling on my lot in life and effect the changes which will free me! I'm working hard on these goals, and only now starting to see some freedom on the horizon. I just hope that with the help of my family I can start to accomplish some if the goals I've had to put on the back burner these last few years!

Whoa....
So....this is simplistically, basically what we humans often do to ourselves. I found this story to be appropriate for many circumstances, many areas and times of life. Often, it takes letting go to grow... To Grow......!

You can open your hand and let go
We can be trapped in “the coconut” a relationship, a lifestyle, negative thinking but we have the choice to open our hands and let go of the banana to release ourselves.

Overthinking
Such an amazing story. Something it brought up was my habit to overthink and be self-conscious as to what people think of me. It thought me a lesson to let go of the things that don’t deserve me and also cause me pain.

Let Go!
An amazing, powerful story reminding us about the importance of letting go. We are are own worst enemies. . . just like the monkeys.

How To Catch Monkeys
Yes... what a vivid reminder to let go of the things that even though they seem important could be trapping us

How to catch monkeys
Yet again, I am brought to this meditation to remind me to let go! Release it.... is it causing me pain? is it breaking my spirit? Then what purpose is it serving? Let go

Change
Sometimes we just need to accept a change and stop fighting for our way.

Letting Go
If we don’t let go of something it becomes our everything and effects all that we do moving forward

Learning to notice
We all have a choice and only we can make it - no one else. We can free ourselves from our beliefs that hold us back or bring turbulence to our minds. Today I will be thinking of the monkies!

Reminder
I’ve been struggling with letting go of negative thoughts and emotions. This was a nice reminder to let go. Let go of the things that are trapping you in a negative mental or physical space. Letting go can often save you from your own worst nightmare

Letting go
Loved this story of letting go. It does make sense but it’s the letting go of things that seems hard for me. Something I have to work on. Thank you😊

Surrender
Surrendering the ego. Letting go. It’s necessary to let go of the things that are holding us back.

Let go
I think I’m holding on to the belief that I’m helpless to face difficulties by myself. I’m paying someone to help me exercise. I’m paying someone to help me train my dog. I’m paying for prepared meals to be delivered to my house. I’m trying to find a therapist and have to pay for that too. Help is really nice but I think I have started to believe I am helpless on my own and holding on so tightly to that belief that I don’t feel capable of doing anything that will make things better on my own.

Understand...
Sad story of the monkeys but understand the symbology ... being trapped and only one self able to let go...

Sometimes we hold onto things that are going to mental drain or kill us, when all we need to do is let go.
What do I need to let go of? It feels like my marriage is draining me. Mentally killing me. Also trying to help & fix Austin

The day I quit
Oftentimes, you just need to let go of whatever is holding you back from your next mission in life. I am at this job and as good as the “banana” seems to be, it is time for me to move on.
