Reflecting on pain
Sunday after the Monday that left me sad. I’ve come to realise everything happens for a reason. And I see clearly now that I still have more work to do. I’ve learnt more about myself, and I’ll process this and become a better - more aware - person. Pain leads to growth. Pain can teach me where I can be better next time.
When I say the affirmations, it's like my body wants to believe them. That I can, in this moment, with my heart wide open, give and receive love. That I'm on the verge of forgiving and dismissing all past hurts. That feels good.
