As caregivers, oftentimes we are busy with taking care of others that we forget about our needs. Self care is just as important for us. If we can’t show up for ourselves, how can we take care of others. Taking just a few moments each day to connect with ourselves or do something that fills our cup up will help from becoming burnt out. It’s been a very busy week for me which self care has been on the back burner. As soon as I woke up today, I could feel the effects of it to my mental well-being. My tank is empty. This beautiful healing session was exactly what I needed to begin filling my cup back up. By the end of this meditation, I felt re-energized, calm, with a heart full of gratitude and love. Today, I have the opportunity to make self care a priority which I will continue to do things that fill my cup up mentally and physically. My to-do list can sit on the back burner til tomorrow. I encourage you if your tank is feeling a little empty to take a few moments to yourself. It is time well spent. Thank you Amy for creating this beautiful session!
