When we bring our kind awareness to our head, our heart and our belly, we can tune in to what's going on in our body, calm ourselves, and tap into the wisdom in our body. Photo by Ben White on Unsplash

A Clear mind
Leads to a strong heartbeat. A strong heart allowed me to feel the butterflies in my stomach. Trusting my gut lead to fond memories of twin boys sitting in front of me during church. One wearing stripes. The other in plaid. Both in blue. The process of moving from mind, heart, gut, mind confirms I am alive. Today is a great day to be alive. Hello, World!

My mind and heart and belly all share a certain feeling or expression.
I wasn’t feeling good before this session but I did come to realize that all parts act as one. My heart has a voice too! I have to bring objectivity and not just become my thoughts and the product of what I’m feeling especially if it’s fear.

A nice way to reflect on your present state
I think that this meditation offers a good strategy for getting a sense of your present thoughts and their related emotions.

Head heart belly
I really liked that this meditation helped me focus on different parts of my body and the feelings they bring. I think me knowing the name of the meditation allowed my mind to skip ahead to the next task( i.e. Thinking about belly dying heat) but I became aware it was doing that and tried my best to risk it. Going forward I hope to focus on being more aware of the sensations in these parts of my body so if I get anxiety for instance I can work towards acknowledging and calming the nerves in my stomach.

Head, heart and belly
I will work on tuning into my head, heart and belly area. Listen to what they are trying to tell me. I felt more connected when I placed a hand on each area and offered gratitude for all they do.

Head, Heart, Belly
Letting my head be the first focus, when I then changed the focus to my heart, then my belly, my mind was not a distraction to the 2nd and 3rd focus of the practice. At the end of the practice, upon opening my eyes, I felt a rush of warmth extend outward from my heart, out before me, into the new day. Namaste

Let go..:
I learned that slowly easing my thoughts allows tension to slowly ease from my body. And, I also learned that when I have a calmer mind I have a calmer belly.

It's certainly easier to concentrate early in the morning before the rest of the house is awake. Taking a few mindful minutes for myself really sets me up for a good day

This council of cells
My body, has things to teach me, especially the regions called head, heart and belly. If I train my attention to always explore them, to always listen to them, my being will be in harmony at any moment.

Head Heart and Belly
I learned that sometimes I need to take a step back from myself and appreciate all the feelings and thoughts going on within me rather than being so affected by them. It will help me be a more positive person.

Mind
My mind was very busy during this meditation. I couldn’t silence my thoughts and it felt like it went by really quickly. Sort of a bummer but it nonetheless informed me as to where my mind body relationship is tonight. And for that I am grateful.

Give gratitude
I learned that I need to realize thoughts come and they go. Letting go of those thoughts will release me of my stress. I learned that my heart is worried and I need to learn how to commit to things so I can release that worry.

Wandering
My mind was wandering tonight. I heard the words and tried to follow along, but I just couldn’t turn my brain off long enough for the meditation to work it’s way into my body as it sometimes does. I’ll pick back up tomorrow and I’ll give myself a little grace.

Awareness
Awareness. I am body-aware and try to be aware of my surroundings yet forget to be self-aware in the sense of my own being and the emotions I hold in my head, heart and belly. I learned that I can hold different emotions in each of those parts and not even realize that I’m holding on to them.

Train of thoughts
I’ve heard the expression “train of thought” before, and it has always seemed to mean just one sustained thought. However, today when it was mentioned, I imagined myself at a railroad crossing watching an actual train go by. So many cars. Each car representing a thought. Interesting.

Head, heart, belly
I tried to watch my thoughts objectively without getting too involved. We truly do have a train of thoughts running through our heads. No wonder we get stressed.

Connected
There are no three things more connected than your head, heart and belly. You may deny it and say your head rules your world or vice versus but they all work together to give you insights sometimes we just don’t listen.

Recognizing
This meditation focused on recognizing what thoughts were present in your mind, what emotions were living in your heart and what arose when you focused on your belly. More about being aware of what is drawing your attention than letting go.

I noticed how intense my heartbeat is while experiencing anxiety. I learned to focus on my heart
I learned focusing on the movement helps calm it down. Thoughts of work rule me up, but slow deliberate breathing and meditation has been helpful

Thoughts
This is all about the thoughts, I that there are so many thoughts and you get stressed with them rather if they are mean or like bad news or anything else that happens that stresses you they just build up in your mind and once they do they get to your heart and then your stomach, so we take them to seriously and it stresses us. So we need to breathe and remember push those thoughts away and focus on the happy things.

Places of wisdom

My mind wandered a lot! I don’t know if it’s because it’s first thing in the am or what
My mind can wander. Maybe bc I don’t know where where ppl are with my eyes shut or I don’t really have my own place to meditate, but it can be super distracting.

I felt better when I finished this meditation
There’s a lot of science and talk just about everywhere I look on the issue of belly (or gut) health as well as the effect it has on the mind and the rest of our body. This was nice because it guided me to notice how three major players in my health were feeling (without judgment) and ended with bringing gratitude to each. Good stuff!

Day 6
I learned that there’s a lot of things that are going on internally, I don’t even notice because I am so consumed with tasks, lists, and activity after activity. It would be really good for my anxiety and my stress to remember to breathe and bring it back to the basics, to really see what my body is already doing. Maybe this will allow myself to slow down and was bringing me anxiety and re-center myself.

Sources of Knowing
There are three sources of knowing in our body: our head, heart and belly. By bringing our awareness to any of these three areas, we are given great wisdom. Bringing awareness to my head, I watched thoughts appear into consciousness and then disappear back into consciousness. Tuning into them, I didn’t receive any wisdom from them. Moving my awareness to my heart, I felt my heartbeat pumping blood to my body. Tuning in to this vital organ, I began hearing wisdom. Live with an open heart so you may be love in action. Hearing these words, I felt warm and full of light. Moving on, I tuned into the region of my belly. Listening, I heard my gut say, continue down this path, for there is still much to be learned. Gaining wisdom from two out of the three sources of knowing, I felt gratitude swell up in my being. I intend to bring awareness to these sources of knowing periodically throughout my day so I may continue to receive wisdom. The path to self-realization is through these three sources of wisdom. Dare to be the one who tunes in and listens to the silence. For we can’t change what we are not aware of. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
