Meditation focus on hands.
I have become aware of my hands and all the functions I can do with my hands that I have taken for granted. Thanks to this meditation practice I am now more aware of the miracle of fully functioning hands that many people unfortunately do not have. I am forever grateful for this gift from the almighty.

Didn't realize it was possible to fall asleep in less than 3 minutes! I have been enjoying the short meditations a lot!

Day two
I was very distracted today. My roommates were being very loud and it seemed to stress me out quite a bit. But I still felt relaxed by the time the meditation was over.

Focus on Hands
We take our hands for granted. As a musician, they are a vital part of delivering instrumental sounds to create the art known as a song. Thank you for the meditation to remind us of the role our hands play.

Give 'em a hand!
As a classical guitarist and someone who communicates a great deal through creative writing and typing, as I'm doing right now, I have a much greater appreciation for my hands. They really are magnificent creations.

Be more grateful
It's amazing how unaware we are of things. This meditation made me aware of the value of my hands, and the type of energy we might be passing on to others by using them in different ways: cooking, painting, giving, writing, etc...

Gratitude
There's always something to be grateful for. Focusing on those things, however small, really displaces negativity from my thoughts and gives me a more positive feeling.

Touching the World
So much of our world is experienced through our feet and hands. As a massage therapist I have finely tuned hands. This meditation helps me be more aware of the power of my touch and helps me appreciate the healing that can be inspired through my hands. 💗

Powerful grattitde
I was almost overwhelmed with gratitude and an acute sadness when I brought my attention to these two blessings. How much of my world is shaped by my ability to touch, hold, create with my hands. Sadness for the time I have spent unaware of this blessings, grateful to realize this is not a given. They were gifted to me but they are not my right. Hoping to use this awareness to show greater appreciation and use these gifts more gracefully and mindfully now. Thank you

Hands
My hands go through so much. I have arthritis in them. But considering the amount they do, they are holding up quite well!

Hands, put your empty hands in mine...
We always take small thinks for granted. We never realise what we have until we lose it. We should be grateful for what we have.

We often take for granted the little things in life, like our hands. Our hands have so much power and abilities. I thank God for mine. 😊

Hand Medtation
My awareness of my extremities outside of meditation, is good for me. It felt reassuring and more importantly natural to do this meditation. I fell right into it and was grateful I was in touch with my core and spirituality. Excellent meditation!

Hands
This meditation was so helpful in recognizing all that my hands do for me. With two fingers still not bending after shoulder surgery, I had been thinking I was handicapped. Now I see it in a larger perspective and this gratefulness will help bring the nerve conduction back to normal.

Hands
I learned that my hands need me be rested and appreciated ever so often. Have you ever come back from a long day of work and rubbed you knees and didn't know how much pain your Kern's were in until you rub them and it releases so nut tension. I found this similar with my hand meditation. I was able to focus on each aspect and truly appreciate them not just for the physical gifts they bring but the memories attached to them.

Observing the hands
It’s nice to take time to think about everything your hands do. It’s surprising how many things you do with your hands throughout the day and it’s like third nature until you take time to reflect.

Gratitude
I learned to focus on my hands and what good they do for me and in the service of others. With the blossoming of this awareness came the unexpected decrease in the pain I typically feel in my hands (joints). Very cool! Thank you

Hand meditation
My hands show the stress I have dealt with over the years. They share the true age of my body. Helping them to relax is challenging.

My Hands
I’ve taken them for granted, now I remember the best moments. When I would surf, and touch the top of waves, or grip the sand between my fingers (Happiness). Holding hands with my mother as a child (comfort). Giving someone a high five (appreciation).

Not all heroes wear capes
It’s so true that we use our hands for just about everything in life. I especially ask a lot of my hands, studying for 18 hours by handwriting notes, or typing essays for three all-nighters in a row. Without my hands I’d be lost, and for that thought I thank this meditation.

Hands
I love the meditations to show gratitude for different body parts. This one came at the perfect time when I’ve been thinking about using my hands to create something whether that be painting or writing or yoga. My hands are for those moments and I am grateful.

Gratitude
My goals in my profession start with my hands. As I study to be a chiropractor, I realize all of my healing abilities start there and the amount of people I can influence depend on my hands themselves.

Taking things for granted
I take for granted so many things that I shouldn’t, such as being able bodied, having a home, and having opportunities most people in the world never do. I need to be more mindful about this and appreciate what I have in its entirety, not just bits at a time

Hand meditation
I can direct my awareness to the backs of my hands and to my knuckles even when I’m not touching or moving that part of my body, with my hands just palms down in my lap. A good way to focus. Namaste.

Hand meditation
A very good meditation. I use my hands for work every day creating beautiful things. My hands are so important yet very taken for granted. This was a great way to reflect and connect with my body in a different way.

Hands
My hands are one of the most difficult issues for me. Because of MS, I don’t have complete feeling in my right hand and it is so frustrating. It makes me crazy sometimes. I’ve had this for 7+ years and continue to try to manage. You don’t realize how much you need them until you don’t have them. Really hard.

Hands
My hands often ache due to me holding stress in them. This meditation reminded me how thankful I am for them that they allow me to provide for myself and others, thus "softening" my hands.

I don’t have hands!
This is a meditation I am planning to skip. I don’t have hands like most everyone else and never had. But this makes me remember how my family and I and everyone I know have always called one of my upper extremities my hand because it is the most developed one and how heartbreaking it was for me and him when my dad who was dying of brain cancer and loosing vision held it and asked “what is it?” then when told “it is my little hand” seemed so sad.

My hands
During this session these painful yet extremely capable hands were bringing a beautiful peace to my cat. I’m not kidding, this lovely animal angel has been my only reason to bother to breathe. While I was consciously touching her, I saw a peace we can all only hope for! You see, she is so afraid of every noise since we moved here, not being used to being in a place that is not the house she came to 5 years ago as a little girl- hard for her, and we are moving to our new permanent apartment next month. So glad these hands could give her that!

To know the power my hands really have. I’m grateful for a lot of things in my life but how often do I really take the time to truly appreciate my body parts and what they bring to my life.👏🏾

Irritated
I learned that I can become quite irritated trying to breathe and relax my hands. I don’t want to be irritated or irritable. I take psych meds for that, which sadly don’t seem to be working really well for me. That makes me sad. 😢

Grateful
Our hands do so much for us that we take advantage of. The smallest of things are always put in darker lights. Noticing that I have my hands to use everyday makes me feel the slightest bit less of anxiety.

H.A.D.ing...
I felt all parts of my hands like never before. I felt my wrists securely holding may hand to my arm, my fingers felt strong and my palms had energy balls buzzing inside them. I had no idea it was Hand Appreciation Day!?! Ok, I just made that up, but it was for me. ❤️🖐🏼❤️
