Some days we just feel flustered, disconnected, frazzled. Our being is crying out to stop, to pause and to reconnect. In this meditation we bring our awareness to the body and breath, which helps us feel grounded and steady. Please note: If you are struggling with your mental health it's really important to seek professional help. These meditations are not a substitute for that but can be used along side therapy to help to support you. For more on Carla-Jo and her work please see www.carlajo-mindfulness.com

Grounding meditation
This meditation helps you to come back to yourself ☺️ some days we just feel really frazzled and feel unconnected to our being because we are just so busy doing! Take some time out today to ground yourself ❤️ even just three minutes can allow you to feel more present and clear so you are in a much better space to move forward with your day ☺️

Grounding Meditation
Sometimes we just have to take a step back and realize that we are all bounded by gravity. By focusing on your breath, your mind becomes calm and peaceful as our feet are grounded to the Earth below us. This grounding practice puts everything into perspective. Have a great day! 😊🙏🏻❤️

Monkey Mind 🐒
This meditation started well until my mind started jumping from one thought to another, faster than a monkey 🐒 swinging from tree 🌳 limb to tree 🌳 limb! 😳😜🙃 Mind you, it wasn’t the fault of the meditation. I have earmarked this to come back to later.

Necessary
I learned the mediation is necessary and I need to do it on a regular basis or I don’t sleep as good.

Practice
Today is a return. My mind wanders a lot but it’s been a long time since I had some practice. I know it will take time and continued commitment to get my mind to a quiet place again. But also I know that I’m coming to this from a place of happiness not a place of desperation as before. My challenge is to find that balance.

Grounding Meditation
I learned that this grounding mediation helped out everything into perspective for me. This mediation really helped me get focused and calmed my mind. I got reentered. With my feet touching the earth you realize how important it is for us to take time to breathe and take time to relax and breathe. And become one with the universe. Appreciate all that our body and this earth allows us to live everyday. Great start to the day! Namaste 🧘🏼‍♀️

Way too distracted!
It is the end of the school year in a couple of weeks and as a high school teacher, I have a million-and-one things to do. Consequently, while the session seemed like it would be effective, I couldn’t focus enough to reap the full benefits.

Mind Wandering
My thoughts this morning were elsewhere to be able to focus on this meditation. I will try this one again at a later time.

I think the 7 minutes is better
I noticed that while I liked the 3 minute practice, I didn’t have time to get really comfortable. Next time I think that I’ll try the 7 minute practice.

Nice reset
I needed to reset and ground myself after a very productive & busy day, but didn’t want to spend too much time, so the 3 minutes was perfect! I’m ready to tackle the rest of my day 😊

First meditation of the day
I learned that just taking a moment to ground myself through a quick guided meditation can improve my day significantly. It’s never too late or the wrong time ✨

Today
Today was hard. I cried through the meditation Bc I have been unsettled lately. Anxiety is with me now and is apart of me. But as I was doing this mediation sadness and all I kept going because I know this will pass. I can breathe, I can ground myself. I just have to remember that

Staying grounded
I learned that by focusing on my abdomen and then gradually moving my warmest to my feet, I can ground myself in the present moment. Sometimes I overthink things. I feel disconnected and lost in my head. This meditation reminds me to use my breath to anchor my thoughts to the present moment. Do you know if the remind me but no matter how scattered in my thoughts are, I can always reestablish my connection toThe earth in order to regain focus.

Staying grounded
I learned I needed to be grounded all the time. That’s part of my anxiety I think.
