Because it counters our minds natural inclination to focus on what is wrong and what is in lack, engaging in a gratitude practice is the best way to begin our day. Filled with thankfulness for what we do have, we naturally begin to see what is right and what is abundant in our lives.
Breathing into my heart space, I am thankful that I am safe in this moment. Filled with peace, I expanded my heart to include the whole world. Focused on my body, I am thankful for this vessel that sails me through life. Expanding my heart, I am thankful for the natural world and all of its inhabitants. The insects, air, vegetation, birds and wildlife all help to sustain not only my life, but also the lives of others. This beautiful dance we engage in on a daily basis is truly something to be grateful for. Thinking of something I am thankful for in this moment, my computer came to mind for it allows me to connect with people from all over the world. Sensing this connection, my heart expanded. With my heart expanded, I am thankful for all the experiences I will encounter today! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
