Gratitude
This meditation helped me reframe the small things in life that seem to bring about so much stress. In all reality, I have much to be grateful for. The mind too often focuses on all of the small annoyances, things we must do and things we believe we are lacking. It is helpful through both meditation and journaling to keep in mind that our focus needs to shift from these distorted thoughts to the many things in our lives we already have and take for granted or have created through more conscious living.

You'll never have control over the experiences effecting us, what we always have control over is how we approach these experiences. Life is a projector and a reflector. In our minds- We project what we want to see (our eyes viewing the world) in our reality, and when people view us we are reflecting that image (how people perceive us). Our consciousness narratives the story on both ends, when you grasp that concept you truly have ownership of your reality. Narrate the reality you want and you shall receive. After several years of not really feeling anything, it’s better to feel even the least desirable emotions than nothing at all.

A Realization
I never thought to feel grateful for my hardships, for my ill body. But after doing this and thinking about my body, I realize that i may not be grateful that it’s happening to me but i’m grateful for the people who are helping me get better. I’m not sure if that’s where she wanted me to go with that but that’s what i took out of it. This changed my way of thinking about the things in the world, there’s so much to be grateful for.

I think that a majority of us live in a world where things are fast-paced. Everyone at point A wants to rush to point Z; everyone who has one thing wants something else. I️ do think that we barely take a second to pause, and reflect on what is in our “present” that we should express gratitude towards. We do not always need to rush to point Z, we do not need to have a “want want want” mentality. I think sometimes we are so blinded by our surroundings hat we forget sometimes the things we truly need, the things that matter, and the things that should hold the highest gratitude in our hearts are right within reach.

More time to think about your blessings
Taking time to speak about joys and blessings is so much better than wasting your time complaining about your struggles. Sometimes our minds are focused on things that we should be grumpy about, we forget there are lots of joys to spend energy on. Instead of releasing hate, just appreciate. ☺️

All these wonderful sessions for parents and friends were worthwhile but this one really made a most positive impact on me. Yesterday I talked to my dad on the phone to wish him a happy 87th birthday. He explained that Jane his wife had to drive to her other house because the water heater had leaked. We got into a conversation about being grateful for all the things we take for granted... After I listened to this session I realized that this includes unpleasant things that we would never, under normal circumstances, consider being grateful for. Like a hot water heater leaking. Or critical government services which keep all of us healthy and safe being suspended because of an obtuse campaign slogan. Or the realization that our country is being endangered by a incompetent puppet who, more than anything else, fears the truth. These unpleasant, temporary realities will all be resolved but in the mean time they are very good teachers who remind us of just how very fortunate we all are for the many things we take for granted. So, instead of hatred and division, we should all embrace and be grateful for the important lessons which are unfolding before our eyes each and every day.

Too many times, we focus on what we do not have. This meditation tells us to look at what we DO have and feel gratitude. Be thankful for the loved ones in your life. Be thankful for your body, as it has been a vessel for you to get through life. Be thankful that at this very moment, you are safe. As you think about gratitude, your heart space begins to expand and you begin to smile. Offer gratitude towards yourself and others. Have a wonderful day! ❤️🙏🏻😊

Gratitude beyond
Tried this session in Cherish’s recommendation this morning. Found it difficult to extend my feelings of gratitude beyond the walls of my own home. Life these says is pretty well contained within the walls of this house. Don't have too many ”real-life” friends. The couple of local ones are off busy with their own lives and families. The other, older friends are scattered across the country, and I rarely get to see or interact with them at all. My massive stroke really put the kibosh on my life, and interacting with my friends and such. 😢

I feel like this helps out also counting your blessings leaving your pants loving people like your friends loving to eat your favorite food ice cream and candy caring your self helping out others meditating and focusing your spirits guides taking one step at a time to honor your only safe practice on commitment to yourself in your helping loving protecting Spirits and always taking time out of your day to just sit back and enjoy your life one step at a time sometimes go slow. I learned that having your health bak is the most important thing to be grateful after been sick for so long . I tend to forget how grateful I should be- I had my life , I have my family especially my mother . Instead I long for things that I do not have and want to happen at the time that I expected. Today I am grateful for a ball up in support of my parents and my siblings. I am grateful that my siblings always been me laugh. And then the support of my friend Liz Jones it’s always there even when I drive her crazy I am grateful for the fact that many people reach out to me on a consistent basis. I am also eternally grateful for the 25 wonderful years I had my maternal grandparents and the joy my fathers relatives from Ireland bring me this includes my grandmother who worked her 90 next month I am grateful that all my aunts uncles and cousins put it up with my merciless sarcastic teething and then many people have seen me at my worst still continue to love me unconditionally.
