Grateful for awareness
As I was being guided through this meditation, something was said in a way that triggered a troubling emotion for me. What I am grateful for is that I was aware of it and was able to set it aside momentarily and then deal with it objectively at a proper time.

My mind wants to keep lookout for my heart center. I focus on my center and have to keep telling my thoughts it’s OK to let go and come back to the center. Nice to know my mind ‘has my back’. Namaste

My sense of gratitude makes me feel the light within. I suppose I place a lot of importance on this; attempting to make sure strangers and more intimate people in my life know I appreciate them and hoping they reciprocate that gratitude either to me or pay it forward. As long as there's a genuine smile in the departure from either party, u feel that same light.

Sometimes we take our luxuries in life for granted. Instead of being sad I have learned to focus on all that I have to be grateful for. My health, my family, my friends. These amazing things we have in life greatly outweigh all of the negative.

Within 3 minutes of sitting with intent to breathe and think about something happy, it feels as if some weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The weight of my day has been heavy. It feels good to have stopped for a few minutes.
