There are more things to be thankful for, even when it’s in the morning. The rain is soft, I have the means to sit and finish some work that’s due this week, I am thankful for a patient Husky that loves and entertains the animals and children, and a partner that means the entire world to me is just one room over snoozing because it’s the start to his weekend 🖤

Stressfulness
I can't seem to relax today. Audrey didn't finish her homework this weekend, she didn't sleep at all last night & she didn't go to school today! Aaahhhh!!!! I'm at wits end. I keep trying to relax, but unfortunately I can't....but I am going to keep trying until my headache is gone, I'm not angry anymore & I am relaxed!!!!

Today is the day.
I would definitely be a lot more happier if I could get this depression under control. Hopefully, today is the day that I can. I'm definitely going to try to contain my depression and anxiety, and try to get rid of it. I hope it works.

Listing gratitude... without trying
In a calm, relaxed state, I was able to list many gratitudes that were simple, yet at the same time powerful because I know at least a thousand people in this world don’t have it. The quiet sound of nature, my home, the warm radiant sun, even some things about me... that makes me unique as a person. In a way, it was also thanking many things... that I hope and believe everyone in the world will have someday. :)

Maybe a little more guidance needed
I found that this meditation had the potential to be good but I felt that it was left very open to interpretation by the listener. I think that I needed to be walked through the way to manifest gratitude more.

I need to point out the obvious and tell myself the things I'm grateful for. Instead of what I normally do by putting all my energy into what I think could be better or what I could have done better on in the past. Yes it's good to improve but it's better to see what you have right now in this moment. Especially if people are doubting you. Just know there's no one ever with you if you want it done make it simply happen don't fixate on a situation.

When I’m feeling frustrated, capricious, resentful, anxious or sad, gratitude brings me in a safe, calm, realistic and présent state of mind. It’s kind of magic for me. Gratitude is an antidote to suffering and to difficult attitudes. 🙂❤️

Gratitude vs Guilt
I am grateful that I have an existence where my basic needs are met. But to look for my own traits for which to be grateful feels really yucky. I am grateful for being a tall white guy who never had to face adversity beyond “first world problems?” I am grateful that I’m perceived as smart, but really that could be my parents talking to my as a baby. I’ve been blessed... but I feel guilty about that. Given all the advantages, I should have done better.

Acceptance of luck
Luck is a relative word. One can be lucky to be alive while another’s luck is winning a raffle. Do we choose the life we live to experience what we need to grow. Can we be overwhelmed by what happens to us and therefore am trapped by what we have faced. Can we have gratitude for the “bad” things that happen in our life. I have immense gratitude and luck in the country I am part of, the standard of living and freedom of speech. I feel lucky and compared to millions of others, I am lucky. My gratitude is to the earth, the sky and to all in between. It travels throughout space and dimensions and time to come back to me. I am grateful to me, body, mind and spirit.

Timely Tuesday 12-19-17
I learned that when you are stress or have anxiety it’s ok to slow down and breathe and look around. I though it was a busy day, I got my packages out and on time; however, on the way home I got a scare because the ambulance was heading up the hill and I thought it was heading towards my house for my disabled company. It did not. But I was nervous. This is the time to breathe. Thank you, Aura!😀 Have a nice evening, Everyone!😀

I learned that when I try to identify one thing I’m grateful for there are several. And I realize all of the “things” are actually people. I’m grateful my heart chose them to be grateful for!

Right meditation for this AM
I did this meditation after a cold night spent with our heater broken, and I began meditation shortly after it began working again. The short practice was great for me to extend gratitude for basic things like warmth and nourishment into concepts like closeness/ togetherness and resourcefulness. All in all, a great way to start my day.

I try to make a point of taking time to be grateful and express gratitude every day. Until listening to this meditation, I never thought about this as meditative time. I am grateful for this new knowledge/perspective.

By relaxing my body, closing my eyes, and thinking about what I’m grateful for in my life I was able to reach a state of momentary happiness from this meditation. I want to focus more energy on positive thoughts like that.

I do better with guided meditation
This one was hard for me to focus on. I really liked the concept of it, and I liked the idea of focusing on gratitude for three minutes. But the extended pauses and silence made it really hard for me to stay focused

I am grateful for me
I am grateful for me. I am doing so much better than a few days ago. Thank you to everyone who commented. You all really helped! I'm about to be busy, getting ready to run to the store and then the theater. We're about to open our new show, and I am the assistant stage manager! My grandpa's doing better I don't think I said that he is in the hospital with a few different problems. We're seeing small improvements, I'm trying to stay prepared to leave for Texas if he takes a turn for the worst. But at the moment, small improvements are massive improvements.

I wanted to choose something broad to be grateful for, as today I was thinking a lot about the things I haven’t yet achieved, places I haven’t yet gone, and a new job I haven’t yet got but want. I keep looking at these things as problems I need to solve, and I try and jump steps ahead when sometimes there’s nothing to be done yet. So I’m taking a step back and being grateful for having the choice to be able to chase after these things as possibilities in my life. Some people are trying to survive one day to the next. This sort of expansion I of my situation I had in meditation helped calm me down.
