Grateful for my senses
I am grateful that my eyes allow me to see my loved ones and the beautiful colors the world has to offer. I am grateful for my hearing, because it helps me to engage in conversation. Additionally, reading is a difficult for me . Consequently, I take in a lot of information through hearing. I am grateful for My nose for allowing me to breathe in and out. I am also grateful for the ability to smell freshly baking desserts and to send the flowers. Finally, I am grateful that my mouth allows me to breathe ,taste, Express myself,, Laugh, scream , speak, and playfully tease those I love.
This practice also reminded me how important the nose and mouth are in oxygenating the body. I am very grateful for that reinforcement. I noticed but touching the body parts associated with each sense helped increase my level of focus on the senses.
