A nice way to begin the day
This was such a nice way to approach the start of a rainy Monday. It’s nice to be reminded to seek the good things around us and look forward to them, even if it’s something little.
Start your day with this....
A great way to start your day is to think about the good things in life. Gratitude has been the key to my my healthy state of well being... Even if it takes you just 2 mins. Before you get out of bed, be grateful. Think about things that make you happy. It’s the best way to take charge of your day. You have the power to choose. Choose to focus on the good things. And more good things will come your way.
“It’s so easy. . .”
. . . many might remember these lyrics to an older song. This phrase came to mind, after listening to this meditation. All we have to do is think of one thing we are looking forward to today- it doesn’t have to be any thing big or earth shattering. Abby (my English Mastiff) and I just came in from a walk in which we got caught in an unexpected cloudburst. She has been toweled and I am in dry clothes, so for me - I am looking forward to waffles drizzled with maple syrup. A splurge for my tastebuds! “It’s so easy. . .” Now I am going to have that song running through my head! 😜
Little Things
This meditation is wonderful to start your day with. Look to the little things in your day to bring you gratitude and joy. Enjoy the pleasant things that happen to you. Have a beautiful day! ❤️🙏🏻😊

A nice & easy session that helped me to un-focus off all the stress of the things that Need done on my “to do” list today and focus on the Joy that will come from dong a couple small things that I Want to get done. Very relaxing
I found this relaxing even though I have trouble visualization my “perfect day “. The teacher’s voice is so soothing that I wouldn’t advise listening to this if you’re tired,😀
Finding the good
A helpful practice this morning to find the small things I’m looking forward to. A bit difficult due to anxiety, but overall great to remind myself that there’s so many small things in life that bring joy.
I need to appreciate even the small things that make me happy.
To always keep in mind the good things you’re looking forward to, big or small, because there’s always something.

Looking ahead
I learned (I should say relearned) that there is something to look forward to everyday, I just have to take the time to notice it.
When I began listening to this wonderful meditation, I was reminded of a quote I once heard which goes a little something like this, “Everyday may not be good, but there is good in everyday“. In this meditation, Jiva has us think of good things that we are looking forward to today as well as into this week coming up. I believe that this is a great meditation to listen to on Sunday’s, as Sunday is the beginning of a new week. Thus, we have a golden opportunity to step back, put everything into perspective and make an intention to look for the good in the upcoming week. I placed my hand over my heart and began thinking about things I am looking forward to today. There is football. There is good food. There is beautiful weather and there is great company. I then began thinking about things I am looking forward to this week. There is walking my dog. There is working on my photography. There is football. There is going up in a hot air balloon for the first time in my life. And, of course there is great food and company on Thanksgiving. The anticipation of all these things energizes me and makes my heart smile. I am very grateful that I have these things to look forward to. Mostly, I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to share these wonderful things with my best friend, my beautiful mother. Namaste ❤️☮️🙏🏻
Little joys
The little things in life can bring joy, it is easy to overlook them, but we should appreciate them. I am looking forward to sitting outside later and feeling the warm sun on my skin, I’m looking forward to the healthy & delicious meal I’m having for dinner.
Inner peace . Day to day we go on about are life’s not truly seeing what gifts are in front of us little or small I am grateful for today for what it will bring , starting off my week knowing i can not control everything around me and what i can do is just be in the present moment excepting what is , instead of focusing on what isn’t . Much love my dear friends ☀️🌈

Things I am looking forward to today: Savoring a hot cup of coffee My hair appointment Beautiful Fall weather Taking the dogs to the park Afternoon meditation session As I think of these things, I am smiling. My heart is filled with gratitude for the simple things. Today, will be a great day!

How you start your day will affect how you feel and think about that day so if you start your day full of positivity and happiness it’ll affect your day and mood with good thoughts and feelings. If you start your day full of negativity and unhappiness it’ll affect your day and mood with bad thoughts and feelings. Choose happiness and positivity over unhappiness and negativity
Good Morning
I loved the reminder to find peace and happiness in even little things like a yummy breakfast. Also, looking forward to little things like a walk in nature and smiling lift your mood. Feeling grateful for starting my day off with gratitude
Calming morning
If I put in the effort I am still able to calm my thoughts so that I can focus in the moment and let them go for the time being. I set my intention as I am calm I am centered I will not give in to my mental illness today I will not give in to the compulsion to shop for today taking it one day at a time

I did not sleep well. I was thinking about taking a sick day from work but began this meditation. Thank you for changing my focus. Off to work.

Gentle chabge
Focus balanced out and stopped rolling thoughts. Felt more positive about starting the new day even though it presents some challenges I’m ok to get going and move on through the things yo be done day.

I’m grateful for meditation because it helps me relax and stay calm and quiet and helps me sleep at night and during the night and sometimes I feel like sometimes I feel tired and sometimes I just don’t like waking up and I do pray lord give me peace and quiet while I sleep and relax everything will be fine and I feel like I’m less stressed and less tired and I am tired of being tired and I am not tired anymore I feel like I’m just flying like a bird and I can breathe and sleep and just hear the lord whisper Margo I’ve got this just stay calm and don’t worry about anything that is why I love meditation because it helps me relax and stay at peace and quiet and helps me sleep
Focusing on positive expectations
I learned that focusing on positive expectations allows my mind to be freed from worry or concerns gently. Smiling also gave me a break from worrying and I feel like it helped set an intention for my day—To pursue joy as an expectation.
Kind of a full one for me personally. Learning that I prefer a little more influence first thing in the morning
Gratitude First
I enjoy Jiva in the mornings. She's pleasant not harsh or jolting, the perfect morning practice of looking for good things before your day starts. Plus she's got the Brit accent. 😁

Thank you for changing my focus for the day. I normally start my day with a lot of worries and things to do. Today started with breathing and smiling
