When I began listening to this wonderful meditation, I was reminded of a quote I once heard which goes a little something like this, “Everyday may not be good, but there is good in everyday“. In this meditation, Jiva has us think of good things that we are looking forward to today as well as into this week coming up. I believe that this is a great meditation to listen to on Sunday’s, as Sunday is the beginning of a new week. Thus, we have a golden opportunity to step back, put everything into perspective and make an intention to look for the good in the upcoming week.
I placed my hand over my heart and began thinking about things I am looking forward to today. There is football. There is good food. There is beautiful weather and there is great company. I then began thinking about things I am looking forward to this week. There is walking my dog. There is working on my photography. There is football. There is going up in a hot air balloon for the first time in my life. And, of course there is great food and company on Thanksgiving.
The anticipation of all these things energizes me and makes my heart smile. I am very grateful that I have these things to look forward to. Mostly, I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to share these wonderful things with my best friend, my beautiful mother. Namaste ❤️☮️🙏🏻
