It felt so good to finally be able to practice some breathing during meditation. My cold returned after only a few days of relief and this time it turned into bronchitis and that’s why I was having trouble with the breathing process. It just makes me realize even more how meditation and breathing go hand-in-hand. But I have continued to just listen to countless meditation sessions and it has done wonders for my state of mind. This mediation was extremely helpful. Although I did not get to lay in bed at the start of my day & complete it - it has changed my morning. See I am at the beginning of a life altering & transitional journey of progression with my physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual health. Currently that is all my life is dedicated too. I am fortunate enough that I am in a place in my life where I am not in need of a job to survive. However, I woke up a hour later this morning than I normally would. So for the past 3.5 hours of my morning I have felt very anxious to make up for that lost hour. My entire routine has been out of whack. Normally my first meditation of the day is something I do before my feet hit the floor to set the tone for my day - however not the case this morning. I reverted back to my Army days of hurry, hurry, hurry. So that had added to me feeling overwhelmingly anxious. However, taking 7 minutes for myself paid off 100 times over. My anxiousness has left my body and I now have a new tone set for my Monday morning & going into the rest of my day. Thank you.

Wishing yourself well
Why don’t we wish wellness and happiness to ourselves. We can have regular well wishes for others but rarely for ourselves. We should want to wish ourselves a good day and a day of happiness,peace, and success. It’s not selfish. If you don’t love yourself completer, how can you love someone else completely? I need to learn to love myself more, and to wish myself a good day and happiness.

Good Morning Aura Community,
I love coming back to this 7 Minute “Good Morning” guided meditation. I have it as a favorite & downloaded too. One of my favorite parts of my entire day is waking before the sun rises, fixing a cup of coffee, & getting back in my warm bed with both my best friends (my fur babies) still sleeping & one even snoring 💤. I put in my earbuds and come straight to Aura to set the tone for my morning. This happens to be probably my favorite guided meditations to start my early mornings. Her voice is soft, serene & relaxing; which is perfect for those of us who like a tranquil transition as we open our eyes and our senses begin to tune into our surrounding environment. This was a good way to start the day- simple but grounding. I like the intention setting at the end. It centered me on what I want to cultivate for myself especially when I know that there will be some external challenges. When I spoke in gratitude to myself at the end for staying in this place of self love and care and sticking with this new routine I could feel my heart lighten. Consistent signs showing me this path is the right one. Grateful for the person that shared this 🙌🏽

It’d been a good day for me with some minor stresses occurring, but they quickly dissipated. I took a nap later to still relax from it all, within an hour after waking up I began to think about the upcoming days and what stresses lied ahead. I’m a bit anxious about giving my election speech in front of everyone, I’m just now realizing I had ignored that anxiety for so long, I’m hoping to keep my composure, although I’ve yet to have written my speech.

I appreciate this meditation. I am not sure how to feel at ease, however. My hope is that continued meditation practice will help me learn how to release my mind from the anxiety, stress and worry that is always running in the background. In the stillness of the morning when we first wake up, it is good for our well-being to take some time to ourselves to just be in our bed to thank for another day, move and stretch our bodies and set intentions for our day. When we take these sacred moments for ourselves, we set ourselves up for a successful day by having a positive mindset. Laying in my comfortable bed when I woke up this morning, I greeted my fur kids with a smile. I thanked God for another day. I stretched and moved my body. I thought of some things to be grateful for. I set intentions for my day. Having these sacred moments at the beginning of my day fueled my mindset with positivity and energized my body. Immediately jumping out of bed when we wake up in the morning can lead us to begin our day on a go-go-go mindset, which can lead us to feeling burnout before the afternoon. However, if we give ourselves some sacred moments to just be and set intentions for our day, we are more inclined to have a positive mindset throughout our day. Try it and find out! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️

Morning Stillness
This meditation is for when you are still in bed just waking up. However, I was already up, sitting in my backyard enjoying a cup of coffee before the heat and humidity kicks in for the day. As I am breathing in the fresh morning air which has a hint of Summer smell to it, I hear the birds chirping and a couple of carpenter bees buzzing. I embrace the stillness I feel from within. This stillness reveals my intention for the day. Wonderful meditation to slowly ease into your day with a peaceful mindset. Wishing everyone a day full of peace and happiness.

Create a beautiful sacred space in your mind that you can travel to anytime you need to be there. Temporarily remove yourself from your surrounding and place yourself in this beautifully peaceful room, destination or place.....and feel with your whole body the joy and release of being there🙏 It’s quite a simple concept....but so extraordinary to actually feel with all my senses the immediate shift to this imagined place ( one of those open air bungalows completely over the water in a Tahiti...) glass doors open...chaise lounges supporting my body comfortably, ocean mist kissing my skin...the blue of the water meshing into the azure of the sky......we are limitless in imagination💖

What a great way to wake up! Slowly, quietly & peacefully. This helped me to start the day calmly in bed before the potential anxiousness of the busy day ahead could get started. She suggested to extend this calmness forward into my day so I can recall it whenever i start to feel anxious and remember to remain calm, safe & warm like I am right now under my blankets... This meditation. Relaxing and helpful. Don’t expect something to miraculously happen from anything but continued use.
Life is complex; don’t think this will solve itself in any short period of time. It is useful to keep trying. I have learned to stretch like yoga and really get deep into this stuff. Never give up anxiety can help so much with any of these meditations. Take it seriously which is something I never liked to do.
