When practicing meditation, we come to learn that something that is seemingly simple is not easy. And as we progress with the practice of meditation, we often return to simple focused attention exercises to find they are some of the most challenging yet profound practices. This practice invites the listener to "simply" focus on the space behind the eyes. Behind the eyes is not an easy place to focus, as it is somewhat intangible, and there's so specific physical sensation to focus on. But the practice invites a calm, present focus.

Focusing
In this meditation, I learned how to focus my attention. I did this , by picturing my focused attention as a yellow light behind my eyes. Visualization helped me to stay engaged during the practice. As the life coach suggested in the session, I originally found the simple instructions this practice very hard to follow . However, once I was able to Focus, I found myself much calmer and more clearheaded than before I did this practice. I am grateful to those who work for this App for putting this track together. Thank you for showing me a quick method of regaining focus on the present moment. I will definitely use this technique in future distracting situations. Thank you also for the community on this app for taking the time to read this post. I hope you are all OK, happy, and well.

“The space behind my eyes ..”
I set into that pretty quickly and was in focus - probably less than a minute after you said that. In time however, my mind drifted metaphysical and asked myself “if you’re behind your eyes, then what are you seeing with?” Just sharing a moment of meditation humor I had. Momentary, humorous, loss of focus aside, it was a nice meditation. Favorited.
