Peace
Not only may this be a good entry into your day, but also a great finish to a great or less great day. I felt a peacefulness, a stillness, a focus; one difficult to reach at times.

Good morning
Today I will focus on getting to know me. I no longer need to depend on my soon to be ex. I can't let the 25 years we had together, take from the new me I am becoming.

Focus
Just from the few minutes of meditation, I learned that having at least 5 minutes to yourself before your day starts is very essential.

Allowing for softness
I learned that I have a lot of judgment around my meditation. If I don't "achieve" mindfulness, my mind immediately judges the practice. By allowing for forgiveness and softness, I can be kinder to myself.

Not an answer.
My wife, the love of my life and best friend is leaving me after 16 years. She is experiencing mindfulness and all sorts of meditation to keep up with her decision. I am trying but I cannot find a use at all to this. The fact that I may be biased because she is doing it, my own feelings full of sadness, loneliness, incapable to “unlove”, leave my children behind, and just accept that a week ago she held my hand and kissed me and now she wants me away; is eating me alive, and telling me that mindfulness is a selfish process to deny your responsibilities in life, a “new” beginning without the strength to overcome past challenges. It is easy to exhale “past” and inhale “today” when you just give away everything else. I am hurt, sad, desolate, heartbroken and I know that. I will remember everything in my marriage because I don’t see negative, never had.

Peace & Happiness
I learned that inner peace generates outer peace. I need to focus on keeping a peaceful state to ensure my happiness. Boys aren't my source of happiness. God is my happiness. My success brings me happiness. My self love brings me happiness. I want to be happy

Focus
Softly looking at the tip of your nose is harder than you think. I loved holding the breath because it makes you realize you are an ocean on the inside. You can feel waves and rhythms you otherwise wouldn't feel.

6th session
Trying to focus on looking at your nose sounds simple but can be difficult to focus on.

Patience
I need to practice patience, I am so distracted I can't even sit still for 3 minutes

Keep calm and focus on
I have a hard time falling asleep. My mind wanders everywhere especially at the eve of a big house move. With this session, I feel a bit more calm and focus. Hopefully I'll get a good night's rest for the busy day tomorrow and remain focus throughout the day.

Nice but not quite
Today I’m even more restless than normal. I have a lot of personal things all seeming to surmount at this moment. I’m very overwhelmed. Consequently, today’s meditation barely made a ripple. I’ll try for something longer.

Honey, we're out of focus again! 😀
I loved that. Focus is and was the best part of all this for me. I can be a bit of a mental wanderer. It's been an amazing 65 days here. I don't post every exercise anymore, but I am still vigilant. Namaste 🙏🏾

Focus
I like the idea of a focus meditation but it simply felt uncomfortable crossing my eyes like that for so long. I wonder if we were to focus on an object in the room it would have a similar effect.

Looking at the tip of my nose
Was not a possibility for me.... it was uncomfortable so I had to close my eyes so I could really enjoy the mindful moment.

To focus
It is challenging, but once I really tried to focus on my nose and breathing, I was able to feel calm yet in control.

First Meditation
I learned how to be relaxed for a short period of time. I also learned how to be still and focus

Tip of the iceberg
This meditation was difficult. The amount of thoughts I already have to fight off during meditation immediately become secondary to the thoughts of uncomfortableness. Am I looking at the right spot? Like, where is the tip of my phones? Whoa! I can see two of my phone, okay tip of the nose.... wow. After u kept pushing through to remain focus and was told to close my eyes and open them coming back to my surroundings.... I opened my eyes with such calmness, pleasantness and joy! JOY is not a word I have used in quite some Time. I guess that’s why I found so much joy in Crossfit... it was and IS painful, and I had some serious mental and physical battles to overcome during this meditation that I found JOY again.

Cross eyed
At first, staring at nose was straining, but it does in fact force one to relax and focus. Focus on breath
C
Clare
Focus
That’s set me up nicely for the day. Deep breathing, soft focus and a cross-eyed look at the end of my nose... felt funny but worked
L

Focus
Take deep breaths and hold for few seconds and focus on what lies ahead in your day. Focus on the positive.

Listening
I chose to listen to my body, finding crossed eye just wasn’t for me. I was able to calm my brain and enjoy the mediation and create some peace in my day.

Focus
I learned that as I’ve gotten older focusing is difficult for me, my mind wants to wander. Focus meditation is something I will be incorporating on a daily basis.

Focus
This was difficult for me to do. I struggled with focusing. It was uncomfortable and awkward to look at my nose. That’s ok. This one was not for me.

Focus
It was difficult to keep my focus at the tip of my nose, but I still felt relaxed. I’m looking forward to keeping this a part of my daily routine.

I don’t like looking at the tip of my nose maybe because I don’t like to do the cross eye thingy but I like the idea of trying to focus on a subject.

Breathe

Slow deep breathing...
I liked that this meditation was simplistic but helpful. I have two big writing projects so I’m happy to know that I can use this technique for focus.

Thank you
Thank you for leaving enough space, enough pause, for my mind to be guided. Too often I’m finding guides who do too much guiding leaving not enough room to follow the guidance.

Focus
I learned that I do have a difficult time focusing. I noticed my mind trying to think about other things, but once I tuned that out and focused on my breathing and nose, I found myself relaxed.

Energisr
I find that breathing into each of the chakras 3 times during meditation to be a very energising experience, this is my favourite way for connecting x🙏x

Breath holding
Really slows me down. At times, I get so hyper - a deep breath (or several) and holding for a few seconds, and lengthening my exhales, allows me smoothness.
L
Lea
It’s uncomfortable
Looking/staring in the tip of your nose while trying to get back your focus was not so much of a help for me, it made me really uncomfortable and my eyes hurt after 😑 maybe that’s just me but I don’t like this session
B
Beth
Focus
Focusing with eyes open is not as easy as with eyes closed. It was especially hard focusing on the tip of my own nose.
M
Meghan
Focus is hard.
I tried to focus on my nose keep my eyes open but I couldn’t. I kept losing focus. I thought of everything but my nose.
L
Lauren
Focus
Instead of staring at the tip of my nose and focusing on that, I closed my eyes and focused on my soul. I believe this was just as if not more effective. Focus is about blocking out distractions and putting all of your attention on that one thing. I definitely feel more relaxed and ready to study now.

Focus
If I lose focus slightly I can always start again. Remember to not beat myself up about it and just start again.

Tune out
By tuning out the outside, it allows us to tune into the inside. (I much prefer to close my eyes) 💕

Hypnotizing
During the exercise of focusing on the tip of the nose, I️ started to slip into this daze, and it felt more natural instead of uncomfortable to focus on a place that our brains normally ignore.
S

Relax
I felt like I was drifting off into a place where there isn’t judgment but a place of deep relaxatio

Enfoque

Focus
I discovered that being directed where to have my gaze and how to hold my hands actually detracted from my experience. I have a certain natural way that I sit, and naturally close my eyes when meditating. Having to stare at the tip of my nose not only kept me from relaxing, my entire focus was on trying to maintain that uncomfortable gaze, until I let my eyes flutter closed.

Focus
As she spoke of looking deep into the center of self, I suspected I would close my eyes and concentrate on looking within. To my surprise, it wasn't even about closing my eyes but staring at the tip of my nose and quieting my brain. Then I could hear my inner self better.
