These are difficult times, for everyone. But not everything is bad and we so easily lose sight of that. This practice will help you to reconnect with the good things in your life, maybe things you totally take for granted, and appreciate them. A practice like this can really shift your perspective from 'everything's bad' to 'some things are very difficult right now but there are good things too'. Why not give it a go?

Current times
I found myself smiling, not about a person or place, but a meme that I was thinking of. LOL!

Focus on Good
During difficult times our mind can be completely consumed with focusing on the negative. In this session, Jivaโ€™s soothing voice guides you to focus on what is right in this moment to give your mind a break from the negative. One of the things that came to mind for me is my husband is working from home right now. He has been able to join me on my afternoon walk with the dogs. We are getting to spend a little more time together which is very nice. Great session to begin my day! My heart is full of gratitude for all the little things. May all of us be able to focus on the good today.๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

Bright Side
When we are in difficult times, we can tend to focus on all that is wrong. This is called negative bias and we all have it from time to time. In this wonderful meditation, Jiva has us turn our awareness from what is going wrong to what is going right in these difficult times. Placing one hand on my heart and the other on my belly, I began to listen to Jivaโ€™s voice. As she began asking me to find things that were going right at this time, I thought of how my body was breathing on its own. In these difficult times, some people canโ€™t breath on their own. This gave me an appreciation for my breath. I thought of the house I live in, the food I have in the refrigerator, the water so I can wash my hands and shower, a bed I can sleep in and household goods, such as toilet paper. In these difficult times, some people do not have a house nor any food, water or household goods for that matter. This gave me an appreciation for having a home with supplies. I thought of the people and fur kids in my life, whom give me unconditional love. In these difficult times, some people are sadly, all alone. Doing this simple exercise of thinking of what is right during these difficult times gave me an immense amount of gratitude and a lightness in my heart. There are always bright sides in every circumstance we find ourselves in. If we choose to focus on what is right instead of what is wrong, we will have a better mindset and a much more enriching life. Look to the bright side of things! Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ

Find whatโ€™s right
The only thing I could find to focus on that didnโ€™t give me any or much negative energy was the moon. Miss Luna brings me much peace and joy. I love how sometimes Iโ€™m the middle of the night I wake up To find Miss Luna shining in my window. Makes me smile! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Finding Whatโ€™s Right
In these challenging times, I choose to be grateful for all thatโ€™s right in my life. I am thankful for being healthy, for my children being healthy, and for more time spent at home with my family. Each day I am truly grateful for the air in my lungs, food in my belly and the love of my family. I believe we all shall move forward well and persevere! ๐Ÿ’•

Uncomfortable
I felt a little flighty and fidgety. It's good to think of what's going right, but I had to really work at it.
