Focus my thoughts from stressful ones to calm
It really helped me find inner peace at just the right time. My life is finally starting to de-stress again but I needed some extra motivation and this was it.

Finding calm
I can ignore anxiety in my stomach and chest by focusing on other parts of me that are not anxious. And if I have anxious thoughts I can replace them by mentally cuddling my dog tigger. By far the best meditation I have done here so far.

Not very helpful for me
I followed instructions during this meditation and although I focused on my hands which felt the least stressed and tense, the sensations of anxiety and stress felt in my head, chest, and stomach overruled no matter how many times I tried diverting my attention. Everything I've tried so far isn't working to relieve me from anxiety and stress.

This is probably my favorite little three minute meditation so far. I had a procedure done today in the hospital and I pretended that my dog was laying there with me. In this meditation she tells you that there is always something positive you can find to lean on when you don't feel so well. I'm still having some leftover achiness and icky feelings from the procedure today but as I was doing this meditation my dog was laying next to me in the bed. My leg is up against her back and that's what I focused on. My sweet June makes me feel wonderful. It made me smile. It was very positive.

A matter of choice
You can choose which to focus on: your stressors or those things/people/events that give you peace, joy and happiness.

One Thing at a Time
I appreciate being able to fixate on a single item or body part. Sometimes, we need to remember to think about only one thing, rather than 50 things at once. By truly choosing to focus on one thing at a time, we find we are more mindful both in meditation and in life.

Stress-free
You need to take your mind to another place. Somewhere that doesn’t make you stressed out, and somewhere that makes you happy. Also, to focus on somewhere on your body that feels stress-free.

Small things
I Learned that focusing on the negative is a big part of what contributes to having stress and constantly being stressed. I was reminded with this exercise that just because bad things happen it doesn’t mean that everything is doomed. There are many things in this world and in our lives to be grateful for. It’s important to acknowledge those small things because focusing on them time to time helps make things better.

Moving the stress.
My stress is based in my inner thoughts and how I react to things in daily life, so stopping and petting Orion’s head and moving the stress to my hands helped.

Focus
I learned that focus is a powerful way to divert energy and awareness away from a troubled area. Today I was anxious and tight in the chest after watching sports. By focusing attention on a relaxed area, my feet, and staying there, My chest and self were more relaxed than when I began the meditation. Thank you.

Very good
Sometimes it feels compelling to focus on the negative as if doing so would help "solve" it. The thing is, there's nothing to solve. Focusing on the bad only makes it worse. Fortunately, this is still true with the good. Focus on it and you'll feel better. This meditation helps me remind of this simple fact. 4/5

Feet?
I needed to refocus some of my tension to a different part of me, and surprisingly, I thought of my feet (not my favorite body part). They are toasty warm in their fluffy socks and felt pretty good. I was distracted enough to let the tension in my neck relax a bit. It worked!

Part by Part

12/20/17
There will always be negatives in our life and some type of tension in our bodies, but it’s important to focus on the good. It’s okay to be aware of the negatives, but important to center our attention around reducing our stress and focusing on the positive aspects of our life.

I just can't relax and be calm, I still think so much of the woman I love who left me high and dry, been two weeks. When does it end? I haven't missed anybody this since I found out my Mom died in 2007 and my own siblings did not tell me!!!

First Meditation
There is always something to be happy about no matter how difficult my situation. It’s the ability to take the mind to that place of happiness and stop replaying all the negative emotions over and over in my head. Just Breathe, and keep track of where in my body I feel anxious, and where I feel least anxious.

Focusing on the not anxious parts of your body is so freeing
Wow, I’ve never done that before; focusing on a part of my body that isn’t anxious feeling. That was so incredibly freeing. I focused on my hands and moving them about and I didn’t feel any resistance from the environment and it was amazing. I felt like my mind was free at that moment. No anxious thoughts. However my mind wanted to go back to the anxious thoughts after a bit, so I had to redirect my attention to my hands.

Refocus & Melt away tension
I found this small exercise very enlightening. Having been battling a bout of mania, I’m short on rest. By focusing on my hand, and being in the moment observing, with eyes closed, the wonder of my hands, slowly the pain and stress locked in my neck was forgotten. With such focus and exploration of my tactile and physical, as well as spiritual and cosmic awareness of my hands, I lost touch with pain. This is something I will be sure to practice much more often.

Observing, Focusing the Attention
Not only can I observe the different states of being within me, I can focus my attention on the calm parts that I notice. Knowing that the anxious, nervous energy exists, I can still focus on what’s at peace. In turn bringing more peace to my mindset and body.

Not getting affected by an outside negativity coming seemingly trying to disturb you.
Energy cannot be created nor destroyed according to the laws of Isaac Newton. So it’s only being transformed from one form to another. Potential to kinetic steam pressure to mechanical..... etc. my main point is once it’s negative it can attach it self to a positive energy because alike repellent and different attracts. So visualize a shield in blue if your Amtic and this shield will have a color according to your strongest chakra. And imagine nothing going out of that shield or coming in and focus on that for as long as you are around other people that you know to have negative energy.
