Why I created this meditation
I love the imagery of breathing light into the body - especially the heart, our center of love, and the solar plexus, our seat of personal power. In this guided meditation, I’m sharing a healing practice that I commonly use with those who come to me for energy healing and counseling. Exited to share it with you in the form of a guided meditation!

I felt a warmth emanating from my heart and solar plexus areas as I held my hands over those areas. It was very comforting and I did feel filled up. Thank you Christina that was the most vivid & powerful meditation I have experienced so far!!! Very easy to follow. Placing my hand on my belly, I felt my whole rib cage area expanding to accommodate the Energy collecting there. I could see light yellow starting to collect in solar plexus area, deepening to a brilliant solid yellow as it got more dense. Then the light red energy started collecting in my heart area and my chest expanded even more to allow more in. Deepening into a blood red color as it kept pouring in... By the end, the two were mixing to create the most intense but soothing orange color of pulsating “goodness” I have ever “seen” or felt... Thank goodness you talked me back down to earth after setting my intention! When you said to relax, I realized just how much tension my whole chest was experiencing, like en overfilled balloon. I really was not ready for it to be over, but all good things must come to an end (or so they tell me). Thank you for filling me up!!

Her voice just doesn’t do it for me. When meditating while listening to a voice tell me to breathe and relax, it should be very, very calming. Here, I listen to these soft voices that make me want to fall in a deep sleep or spend the day in harmony. Focusing on my solar plexus Chakra was effective in empowering my body. Adding my heart Chakra ramped things up to another level. But “seeing” them combine forces started to get a little crazy 😜 in a good way. It looked like a yellow hurricane mixing with a big red tornado making for a humongous orange-ish Energy cloud thingie! Very hard to explain but it felt VERY empowering!! And now I am filled with loving power and have to go attack my to do list as I Will get them all done today and still have time to relax! Hand on my solar plexus and another on my heart is like giving yourself a energy hug. The light filled my entire body and I was floating in river of peace and clam energy. Half marathon finished and taking the rest of the day in self care by keeping my feet up and relaxing. Proud of my ability to stay positive throughout the race even when the miles stretched forever and my legs and feet and joints were in pain from the pounding. So eternally grateful that I am able to run when so many can’t walk. I didn’t take a moment for granted! Now on to the next race!! #Light&Love 🏃🏽‍♀️

It’s important to take care of ourselves and with life and how busy it is and especially being a mother, full time employee and wife I get so caught up on everyone else that sometimes I forget to slow down and pause and just take care of me.. we must make time for ourselves in order to take care of everyone else and continuing to give and do our best and be our best self. I learned the solar plexus is located right above your belly button which is an area we hold tension in. In this meditation you place one hand right above your belly button and as your breathing In visualizing this area being filled with light. Then your other hand is placed on your chest area near your heart which you also visualize this area being filled with light. This is a great meditation to begin your day with! Breathing into my solar plexus, my body became empowered. Breathing into my heart space, my body became warm. Our solar plexus and heart are keys to our wellbeing. It is important to continually nourish these areas with our breath as well as our mindful attention. Placing one hand just above my belly button which this is your solar plexus and one hand in the center of my chest, I breathe in light to both of these areas circulating new life force energy throughout my body. Feeling this new energy flowing through my body, mind, and spirit, my intention for the day becomes clear. I will show love and compassion to myself as well as others today. May your day be filled with love, light, and peace! ❤️🙏☀️

I did feel a bit distracted during this session because whenever I heard certain words, my imagination would immediately send me a memory of something. I was able, however, to come back to my breath and just focus on the feeling of my hands on my chest and abdomen, because even when I’m imagining deeply as is my won’t, my body continues to exist and can act as an anchor for my imagination not carrying me away.

Filling Yourself Up...
I’m imagining it vertical conveyor belt of light cycling from my abdomen to my sternum. I’m finally able to do this meditation after my thoughts distracted me the first time. If I can imagine what this conveyor belt is moving, it’s a selection of nourishment in different types of fruit and a thought about what I’m going to eat on my birthday this coming month because of how I couldn’t do anything last year. I’m not talking about the dinner portion, but the pint of ice cream I always have at the time I was born. I’m thinking whether I want to eat something healthy, but in the last year, I’ve eaten very little sugary foods in the long run. Some of it, I definitely regretted like the cheesecake I made with my mother because I didn’t get to share it with anyone else and dishes of food, as well as stuff like sour cream and onion dip — as I found out because of being brought a huge selection of dairy products because I didn’t have enough food — are meant to be SHARED. Chips WITH DIP are really, truly, is not meant to be eaten alone. No one was meant to spend special days by themselves so then we started to pile up stuff we were going to do on that one special day and forgot to look at it logically. I cannot allow myself to eat Ben & Jerry’s, Benihana, Red Robin, and a birthday cake all on the same day and I’m starting to wonder am I building an allegory for how much we internalize feelings only to throw them up later. Some feelings desperately need to be shared so they don’t destroy us. One’s relationship with food really well illustrates this concept. I’m going to have to choose what to step away from in favor of having a healthier option to avoid horrible consequences in the future for choices we didn’t make better in the present.
