Day 4 on a journey to self love
Yesterday I did something for myself and experienced a successful moment for the first time in what feels like months. Last night was a real low point in my depression. It was triggered when I put myself out there to my so and sought validation that didn't come. This morning I reflected on what it means to enjoy my life in the moment and to take control of all my moments. I pray that I make it through this.

I constantly am thinking about what happens next and or what I screwed up before, completely unaware of the current moment and it’s beauty. I sat here, amidst my life’s stress, echoes of the tv from the other room where my wife is, Cat meowing at me, and air conditioner running. In this moment I have everything and do not need a single thing. I just need to find this place again tomorrow...

It is easy to forget that we have this moment. It’s easy to look ahead and worry or look behind and feel anxious, but if we can just breathe we will always have this moment, and we can make this moment anything we want if we are able to let ourselves return to our center. To our breath. I have to remember to breathe.

Didnt make me feel much better
This one didnt do much for me.. i mean also could be the fact that i let him in again.. knowing how much sadness it brings me.. it also brings me so much joy. Hes just incredible in every way. I hate it.

Be less stressful
Everytime I feel overwhelmed with all the things I’ve got in my mind all through out my review, I just listen Aura. It seriously releases some of the stress I feel because of all the pressure and anxiety given especially when I have a few more days left to take the board exam. I shall continue now to review thanks aura! 👍👍👍👍👍

I need a better posture
While I like meditating in a head to floor prayer position near my phone, it puts distracting pressure in my head, makes it harder to breathe. Guess I’ll have to sit up! Today’s meditation was very good though!

Maybe things can’t be resolved like “poof” through meditation. But incremental improvements are things to look toward. Every day will be different, some hard, but that doesn’t mean you’re not on the right path. Today I feel this way. Somber, but hopeful.
