Sat - 11/18/17 - Anxious & Sad Morning
I️ had such relief yesterday and almost a feeling of euphoria after my session with Dr. Ghazal especially after she told me elevated DHEA does not negatively effect my egg quality. But this morning I️ feel an underlying anxiety and sadness. I️ think it’s bc I️ feel like I️ don’t know how to handle stress and I️ know it’s just a matter of time when the next anxiety or panic attack will come on and I’m dreading it. So I’m trying these meditation apps and I️ have an appointment today with Dr. Justice. We’ll see how it goes.

I learned I can have a powerful influence over my meditations! When I added the window and then sunshine, I immediately saw a much brighter vision and physically felt warmer. This supports my Belief that we have more influence over our Lives than we know. “What we think about, we bring about” is so true for both positive & negative thought images. My job is to Choose the images I Want in my life! I choose to think more about : Love - Health - Happiness - Prosperity and thus create more of these in my Life!

It is okay to want to be alone at times. You need that. Wanting some “me” time is not selfish at all. In fact, it is very healthy. We should all dedicate a few hours each week towards doing activities we like to do on our own. This will make us mentally and emotionally stronger.

I can go to that place, physically and/or in my mind, when I want to reminisce about my childhood or just to feel safe and peaceful. Sitting on the dock watching ships go by; dirt roads, no noise, the little town I can walk to, the beautiful old homes. I’m going to live there one day.

Where is your safe place? Mine, is with my service pup, Bella. She makes me feel the most comfortable, the most safest, the most humble. When I am with her, I can imagine the windows, the sun and being safe like the meditation was saying. This meditation is a great ANYTIME meditation. Have a great day, Everyone!

A forest with Morning Dew
I didn’t know I felt safe and secure in a forest filled with tall pine trees, surrounded by green, and silence settling on everything around me from the morning dew. I didn’t know this till this meditation reminded me of my love for nature,for waking up outdoors to the sound of a trickling stream and birds chirping. I write an intention for each day and the Universe gave this meditation to help. Very helpful at developing the safety and ease I need. I feel as if everyone needs something from me and it could be a neutral request but I feel put upon. I begin to feel ill at ease with the world and want to escape whether in my mind or physically leaving. I’m in the process of healing after a lifetime of self neglect. This meditation allowed me to experience safety and ease that I can access at anytime.

I enjoyed the most wonderful bookshop in Wales. I visited this shop many times in my few days there and I always felt safe and secure there. I didn't realize how much I needed to visit this safe, calm space. I'll only get a few hours of sleep tonight and I was quite stressed about the amount of rest I'll actually get. But visiting my safe bubble helped to put those thoughts at rest. I spent the evening at a course that discussed (in part) the types of national threats. This type of conversation usually sends me into a panic attack. But with this and mindful breathing I feel like I can conquer the conversation next time.

This meditation guided me to a special place I visualized in my mind. A place where I felt completely safe but not alone. A little cottage near the shore of a river that had a small waterfall. Inside the cottage, very simple, a bed, a table, the window and the sunlight shining through. Then, I ended up outside in a very small covered cabana that allowed the sun to shine through. That’s where I felt the sun warmth inside and all around me. It was a safe, peaceful and wonderful feeling. Thank you 🙏 Aura

A 3 minute meditation feels a bit short for me. It takes me the full three minutes to tune out other thoughts and once I’ve created that space for myself to be relaxed and focused, I don’t get to stay there and enjoy the moment. Going to stick to the 7 minute options.

Im a soldier with a lot of stress in my daily life. I could not sleep last night so I installed this app which i have heard about... My first 5 minuets in this app was so good that it brought me so much hope for sleeping better. Looking forward to share with you guys my upcoming experiences.

I learned that I shouldn’t do this as a beginner at 2:51am & expect to fall asleep peacefully — as my heart is pounding out of my chest, my organs that are suppose to be relaxing seem to be upset about something because they’re twitching & the sound volume of the cricket in the house & dog barking outside was almost unbearable. Plus, I should also not place my phone on my chest to listen & participate in the exercise because the vibration of the phone is very bothersome. So, I believe I have quite a few takeaways here to learn from. Hard work this is.

Sometimes in life we feel as if we are trapped in a darkness, and we long for is the light to bring us back. What we fail to realize, and why we get so stuck in the darkness, is that we, ourselves, are the light. This meditation reminded me that. I feel the most safe in a red brick and mortar house, with a proper bedroom that has cream white sheets and a fluffy bed. I want to sleep in my own bedroom and have my own house - a desire of my inner child because growing up, I was made to sleep with my parents and live in an apartment. This living style was so different from that of my classmates that it made me feel ashamed and weird for being different. It made me feel sad and lonely because I had no one to relate to when it came to this lifestyle. There was a degree of shame at being the child of my parents which made me feel guilty, extremely guilty.

I learned that having a “safety bubble” or a “light bubble” is a very good thing to have. It’s nice to know that you can return to it and return to your safe place and negate all negative feelings. You can only allow good feelings in, and good feelings out. I felt a lot happier after doing that. I feel more relaxed and I’m definitely going to return to that bubble again.

Through this mediation I thought of the the only place I could ever feel safe and that is my beloved rege’s arm. He has always made me feel so safe and secure and protected me when I could not protect myself. He’s not just my safe place he is my world and I love him with all the Star dust in the galaxy.

From birth until adolescence I was privileged with the gift of being able to escape the city to spend Summers up north at a cottage on the lake. I always felt safe there; everything was warm, peaceful and exactly the way it was supposed to be. This meditation reminded me of feeling connected to surroundings where everything was right in the shine of nature’s light.

The safe place this reminded me of was Muir Woods with all those huge heavenly trees. Imagining myself in a bubble where only light could come in and only light could go out was delightful. I floated around in the shade from one tree to the next spreading light and feeling gratitude.

I found my space is a place I’ve never been to before. A cushioned nook underneath a big circular window, and surrounded by bookshelves filled to the brim. This one made me think about a “safe zone”, so one I chose was my imaginary forest. It’s Fall and about 77* where the grass and leaves are all dry and the colors are green and slightly changing. I don’t know why but that’s where I thought of. The sunshine through the window was a window through the tree top leaves with the sunshine flowing from over the leaves and pouring into my area to flow towards me. It felt safe and warm. Today, I learned that I need to be aware of my surroundings and know that I am the one in control. Somebody that hurt me recently bumped into me today, I watched him walk in, look at me, and walk out. My body froze, I stood looking at the doorway he entered from and watched him walk away. For a solid 15 minutes I started into blank space replaying that moment in my head. I began to felt claustrophobic in my own thoughts. My mind started up filling with all these things I could have done to avoid that moment. I had to stop myself. I had to realise that I was holding onto something that the other person let go a long time ago. I’m aware that I need to let go. But I also need to remember that it takes time. Everything happens in moderation
