Experience the Calm
This was a great way to take a break this morning after waking up late and feeling rushed. It was a moment to my self where I could breath and find my center.
I'm always amazed at the difference three Minutes of meditation can make to my being. I started off feeling quite emotional and I now feel peaceful.
Cultivating Calm Within
I learned that there is this calm place within me. It has always and will always be there.
Taking a few minutes to focus on my breath and my inner calm truly helps in the morning before a stressful work day and commute. Remembering to pull that inner strength from within really helps to start my day off right! Grateful for this app!

My own place
I learned that I had an inner peace location and that it is my own. I need to weather the storms within me to achieve the maximum level of calmness.
i learned that within this first meditation i have found my inner world. the before the storm, the during and the after. each day there is a storm and each night the interior world revives itself to bring sunshine or clouds the next day. whether its a light drizzle or a full blown hurricane, there will be a storm. but there is always an after.

This really spoke to me. The fact that I can cultivate my own calmness and stillness. I can take myself to a state of relaxation. I have the power within myself to do that.
The first step to begin the path to happiness is being calm within you and know the power of it against external forces which may change your calm to negative feelings.
Feeling at ease
This morning I have an interview in the corporate world today so this meditation was very at home 🖖🏽🌻
Tied my longest streak
I just tied my original longest streak of 52 days straight. Unlike the first time, this time around was easier to meditate and it felt like meditating has become a natural part of my daily routine. As for the meditation, it was a great reminder I can handle whatever situation just by cultivating a sense of calm.
Calm is still in there. Need to remember that parenthood is a journey to enjoy.
I’m the one who is in control of my inner calm. When I feel stress coming on, I stop and just breathe quietly, thinking only of a serene beach with gentle waves.

I'm starting to feel the Experience Calm that is Within me. I've had a full day today getting ready to go to bed. I feel it peace it was a very emotional day today and it was so picture perfect. My God My Husband My Family My Friends in that order is Love Hope Peace of Mind and Everything. Thank you God for your blessings. I hope and pray that my Family and Everyone has a Sweet Blessing and Sweet Dreams Tonight.
Always good to be reminded to cultivate this sanctuary deep within and to sit in the stillness that can be found there. Thanks Dorothy. I needed that very thing.
This last week was really stressful emotionally and just could not relax. Could not relax in yoga or Pilates...I really need to concentrate on relaxation because when I'm stressed I get migraines and pains in stomach and my whole being is out of whack.
My mind was in a poor place but I am recently learning to accept, to listen and to love!
I learned that focusing on your breathing closes off your mind from anything else.
Breathing is crucial to being in control. Thinking of s place of stillness in my body was helpful

after you find your breath and follow it, it is easier to be in a calmer mind set.
Experience calm within you
I learned that allowing the tension inside to release with the center of calm in your body it is easier to breathe.
I was focused on my mind but then realized my core is where it was leading me!
Core over mind
I was focused on my mind when really it was my core I needed to turn too!
I just need to Center my center and breath in and out to focus.

Taking a moment to pause and focus on an inner center of calm and on breathing goes a long way.
Calm exists when you let the feeling around you sink in and become one with you
During lunch is a perfect time to bring the calm back to my life after dealing with students for a few hours and with a few more hours left, this is perfect mid day meditation!
It’s important to focus on you. The inner you dictates the outer you. So it’s important to focus on the center and make that place a calm place. It revives the entire body. I’m calm after this meditation and ready to take on the day!!
I learned that I have this place of calm within me that I can go to whenever I need it. I never thought about it this way.
There is a place of calm within me and it is available to me at any time. Very helpful.
Place of inner calm??
My place of inner calm doesn’t seem available to me right now. In fact, I don’t remember the last time it was, or even if I’ve ever really had such a space within. I guess I must have. But, if so, it’s buried under so many layers worry, tension, stress, exhaustion, and doubt that I can’t get at it.
Breathing is such a good way to counteract stress. Typically when I feel stress my body becomes rigid and my muscles tense up. Controlling my breathing is a great way to relax my body.
Great meditation today. I felt so at peace sitting in my friend’s living room. It is a lovely morning and I spent the evening drinking tea and chatting with a friend. I am starting to understand what makes me happy and what makes me feel calm and going after that. I took time to travel to different places that make me feel calm in my memory in this meditation. And it really helped. The next step is bringing this calm with me into my day.

The center of my being is a new place for me. I need to think more about this and f ind this place more often. A new experience
I feel really fat after this because the chose my stomach as the center of my body.
Sometimes when I dig deep I look outside. I stare at the night sky, it’s velvety depths draw me in, as the crystalline stars glint down at me. It envelopes me in its greatness, time,space and dimensions, such a small speck I am but I feel connected. I am not tiny but a piece of the whole, I am not ineffectual as a belong to more and I am not alone as we are altogether on our journeys, just at different stages. Inside I hold a universe outside is another.
I felt the center of my self as a sparkly ball of energy. As I breathed and relaxed it calmed itself down but the sparkle was still there.
Like I touched my inner self

I feel like I can breathe better and I’m more positive and I have a better outlook on today and I think I’ll be able to meditate in the future more easily because I found this place within myself! Happy face
Good one for before bed
This brought up a lot that I wasn’t expecting. However by the end I was able to embody the calm.
Ready for a nap
I was feeling beyond sad and anxious, I did the 7 min session twice and I feel grounded and peaceful. One of my favs so far.

I can find peace within myself. It’s always there. I just need to remind myself.
calm after the storm
We might feel like life is using us as punching bags —throwing one horrible situation after the other at us; but our perspective has to change... because without any of these circumstances, we wouldnt have the knowledge —the wisdom, that we possess now. So, when you feel miserable, sad or even anxious, take a moment for yourself, in the most comfortable position and inhale as deeply as you can; let all the pressure of the day go away... and feel at home with yourself.
In my own space
I used this exercise as earlier this evening there was a tiff between my brothers and our mum’s new boyfriend. I had to tell them to stop as it was making my mum upset.
I felt infuriated that this had happened, and on Christmas Day as well!
As I spent some time in my room afterwards, I decided to use this meditation to bring me back to the present, where I am now and taking the time to re connect with myself.
I will also say this. There’s no point having an argument with someone who has different beliefs and opinions. It’s better to just accept it by saying yes and walking away.
