Blessings of Ease
All things, from our emotions, feelings, thoughts, sensations and images to our perceptions and experiences have a rising and falling. Understanding this, we can learn to live with equanimity and balance.
In this beautiful meditation, we offer ourselves and others this beautiful peace offering.
Focusing on my breath, I settled my body on my inhale while settling my mind on my exhale. Placing a hand over my heart, I checked in with how I was feeling. Just by offering myself these blessings of ease, my heart opened to receive the joy of being. Being filled with peace, I visualized family and friends whom I care about. Reciting these beautiful blessings of ease to each of them, I saw the excess tension they were holding in their faces melt away.
Visualizing myself sitting on the moon looking back at Earth, I sensed the heartache and suffering of all the people. Sensing all this pain, I recited blessings of ease to everyone. My hope is that everyone heard these blessings of ease and can learn to live with equanimity and balance. After all, pain is inevitable in life. Suffering is optional. Namaste ๐๐ปโค๏ธโฎ๏ธ
