It teaches you to have a deep understanding of the nature of change and allows you to be with lifes change with insight and compassion. Equanimity arises from intentional observation and the ability to be aware of without being caught by what we see. When well-developed this gives rise to a great sense of peace. This practice may be profoundly helpful during this time of uncertainty.

After hearing the meaning of equanimity, I learned that having peace and being at ease with yourself helps alter the state of mind for the better. Wishing for peace upon others as well creates a sensation of peace. By far the best session I've heard. 💛
Blessings of Ease
All things, from our emotions, feelings, thoughts, sensations and images to our perceptions and experiences have a rising and falling. Understanding this, we can learn to live with equanimity and balance. In this beautiful meditation, we offer ourselves and others this beautiful peace offering. Focusing on my breath, I settled my body on my inhale while settling my mind on my exhale. Placing a hand over my heart, I checked in with how I was feeling. Just by offering myself these blessings of ease, my heart opened to receive the joy of being. Being filled with peace, I visualized family and friends whom I care about. Reciting these beautiful blessings of ease to each of them, I saw the excess tension they were holding in their faces melt away. Visualizing myself sitting on the moon looking back at Earth, I sensed the heartache and suffering of all the people. Sensing all this pain, I recited blessings of ease to everyone. My hope is that everyone heard these blessings of ease and can learn to live with equanimity and balance. After all, pain is inevitable in life. Suffering is optional. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
Thougher day
Today is a bit more difficult but searching for my own compassion helps. It's easy to trick myself into thinking that everything is fine but then I get more triggered when I am reminded that they are not, and the path is full of questions and possible outcomes. Acceptance is a constant struggle/effort
