Moving through the head, face, neck & shoulders; the areas where we can hold a lot of unconscious tension, it allows a gentle, natural progression of relaxation through the micro-muscles of the upper body. The slow pace of the visualization can help the mind to slow down and unwind at the end of a busy day. Preparing the mind & body to feel safe, cared for a rested can become a daily ritual before bed, to let go of the day. Although this meditation is a visualization exercise, you are also welcome to follow the guidance & give yourself a real face massage.
