The "double inhale" or also known as the physiological sigh, is a practical and efficient way to reset the nervous system and offload excess carbon dioxide from our system. We see young children and animals do this breath pattern naturally, but most of us adults don't breathe this way unless we are taught. It is a simple and highly effective way to calm the nervous system, anywhere, anytime.
