Deep Reflection

Deep Reflection is a deeply immersive track built around a single sustained drone, with minimal movement, designed for concentrated, single-pointed meditation practice. A single drone runs the length of the piece, creating a powerful experience on the edge of stillness. Small ornaments surface in the surrounding atmosphere, brief textures that rise and settle back into the drone without pulling attention away from it. Focused attention practice, built around returning again and again to one steady point, has been shown to reduce mind-wandering over time and to quiet activity in the brain's default mode network, the system linked to daydreaming and inner chatter.
