There's a link between our mood or emotions and how we breathe - when we're anxious or stressed, breathing often becomes short and tight. By deliberately breathing slowly into our lower bodies, we can reduce anxiety and calm stress.
This breathing method is sooo calming for me. Sometimes it may take me awhile to breathe this deeply and other times it seems natural. Thanks for your gentle guidance 🙏
I feel very relaxed and I’ve had a terrible day, I always forget to take deep breathes
It’s good to breathe and I sometimes forget to take deep breathes, and I need to throughout my day more
I felt that belly breathing really brought my attention back to the present moment and helped me slow down and calm down.
Deep Belly Breathing
I was tired this morning when I started this practice. As I was guided through the breathing, I realized that my breath was short and shallow and up in my shoulders. Thank you for helping my day start on a better note.
Take a moment to yourself, lay down, place your hands in your stomach and, with each deep breath you take, feel the rise of it; and when exhaling, feel your stomach being lowered. With each breath you take, you clear your head of unwanted and even unnecessary thoughts. So, just breathe deep, and be here.
This really helped. I always find myself breathing short breaths from stress and anxiety, this was a great exercise to bring me back to calmn
I woke up anxious

I have been under a tremendous amount of stress lately, and this practice really helped me just slow my mind

Deep belly breathing was more relaxing than just asking deep breaths - they were easier for me to control. It gave my brain something to focus on and helped pull that stress down and out of my shoulders and neck.

Mood is so very easy, but we so often don’t do it because feel rushed. One moment can shift everything.
I felt my mind would continue to race but I tried to just get back to my breathing. Meditation was better than no meditation. I just keep trying😊
It’s always good to pay attention to my breathing and in times of stress or any emotion I can go to my breathing
I realized I have trained my body to naturally take higher smaller breaths and when I forced the breath down today it wasn’t easy and didn’t feel natural, especially when I had to “poke” my belly out to take a deep breath.
When breath is high in your body
Breath can be carried high in my lungs. Try to breathe into my belly when this happens to help release pressure & anxiety

I am struggling with health issues and I recognize a pattern that when my health gets bad my anxiety skyrockets and I get triggered by the smallest things. Setting aside time for breathwork and meditation really helps me manage my anxiety.

Hard to follow
I know about deep breathing. So I just did the breathing exercises while listening.
My first session
I did feel a bit more relaxed after the exercise. I was also more aware of areas of pain and tension in my back and shoulders. They continued to hold my attention well after finishing.

I found this very settling. Became more aware of the results throughout my body
I became more relaxed and felt like I could sleep well at nightt. This is a good way to get into meditation.
