I felt confident after this and was extremely calm which never happens
Dealing with anxiety
I learned that fight or flight is part of your nervous system and breathing exercises can make you less stressed
I appreciated this clear explanation of the manifestation of anxiety. It provides a very good visual.
Felt a lot calmer after breathing!
Breathing correctly calms down anxiety
I learned it’s amazing how something so simple like taking a deep breath can make sure a difference. Especially because breathing in general is something that comes naturally, it’s just a slightly different type of breath.
I used the 4 in-4 hold-4 out breathing technique to stop panic and anxiousiness from worsing to the point of a panic attack, which, can affect your days mood.
I had really bad anxiety but now I’ve learned how to control my breathing.. this really helps me
I am always anxious, and it’s good to know the science behind it. I am going to take my breathing more seriously and be more cognitively aware of it
Wave of breath
This affirmed what I know I can do to feel calm and what I have been practicing for quite a while when I’m overcome with anxiety. I’m grateful for this breath
I think I no longer should try to fight the whole world when am anxious cause that just increases my anxiety without me noticing,i should try to just stop close my eyes and actually try to smell the roses
Anxiety due to unknown change
Just taking a time out to breath will make things easier with practice.
This is the most helpful track I’ve listened to on Aura so far. To understand why all the physical symptoms occur helps ease my additional anxiety that often comes with experiencing those symptoms. And to make the connection between the breathing and the parasympathetic nervous system gives me more confidence that the breathing exercise will work. It’s not always easy to slow down my breathing when the grip of anxiety/panic is particularly tight, but when I am able to get to a comfortable breathing pattern, I can feel myself calming down.
I may have anxiety, but I’m glad to know how my reactions (flight or fight) are built within us for survival. I hope to calm my thoughts with meditation and focus on my goals. Achievement is within reach, but anxiety isn’t necessary and derails me from accomplishing my goals. Inner peace is attainable.
Simply focusing on my breathing really helped me in and my stress levels. Being up late doing homework, losing hours of sleep for school is really hampering me but I feel so much better after this session. I’ll make sure to return to it whenever I feel stressed again.
I feel like my eyes have been open
Looking forward to a journey of positive self talk and exploring my internal voice
Dealing with anxiety
I learned that anxiety comes from the fight or flight response in your mind. I realized that I need to calm that down sometimes to help me move along in life to live better. I shouldn't be feeling in a constant fight or flight response going through life and learn how to deal with it.
I learned that Breathing exercises helps reduce anxiety ahead time. Find a breathing rhythm to calm down your nervous system which leads to calming the anxiety.
Just slowing down your breathing helps reduce your bodies response to stress and helps you feel less anxious. It helped when practicing this too.
More than everything else
To focus on my breathing in stressful times and To practice it to take control of situations
This really helped me to understand some of the physical aspects of my anxiety...
Listening I was like “yep that’s me. That’s me too! Omg I do that!” My anxiety has been really increased lately so anything to help me understand any part of the “why” and to how to reduce it is helpful
I tried this and it did more then relax my anxiety it made me sleepy. Not great for at work but at least it worked.

Sleeping with Anxiety
I remember that my body is just doing this for my own good. It feels this way because it wants to protect me & guide me to a safe destination. I must understand these physical sensations willl pass and I willl be okay
Great tool for dealing with anxiety! We have a natural fight or flight response that is designed to keep us alive by either fighting our adversary or running away to live to fight another day. While it was very Beneficial when we lived with all the dangers in the wild, it is more Detrimental in our domesticated society where we rarely have to physically fight or actually run away.
This fight or flight response physically prepares our body to get ready to go to battle and when the battle never happens we are left in an over prepared (anxious) state. This meditation helps us to calm down to a healthier state by focusing on our breathe.
I have used this 4 part breathing before with great success. I especially like the moments of holding between inhales & exhales - that is where we can really experience the Calmness of the ‘Now’!
Best of Luck using this tool to regain your composure!!
Sympathetic NS is fight or flight survival
Parasympathetic NS is rest and digest more easily controlled communicated to the brain via breathework
Dreams can be shattered , promises broken, and everything and anything always comes to an end
Breathing through the anxious times can be beneficial and access the parasympathetic system. But sometimes, it just gets so bad I have to breath into a paper bag to help alleviate the anxiety.
I learned that breathing really does help calm my anxiety, if I can actually focus on it and get it under control.
I was reminded about the slow breathing technique. It does help to calm anxiety.
I was reminded about the slow breathe ring technique. It works to help calm me down.
I have a lot of anxiety and I’m scared.
When my anxiety gets the best of me it’s hard for me to pay attention to my breathing exercises or anything that helps me feel calm.
I need to recognize my breathing patterns
I learned that my breathing has a large effect on the outcome of my reactions. I need to take a step back, think, and breathe when Im faced with conflict
I was happy today because Tommy and I are planning for the wedding dance and Mike is having a good day despite the back pain. I learned that my general mental state is directly tied to interactions I have with people I love and care for in a day. This is codependent behavior I need to work on.
I talk too much. I am not calm during the day. The stress is overwhelming me. I take on too much.
Understanding what the body is going through (fight or flight) when dealing with anxiety was very informative. Now breathing exercises make more sense to me. It really helps me to pay attention to my body and use breathing to help ease my mind, body and soul.
I learned that stopping for a minute and take a minute to breath calmly makes a difference
The breathing patterns work, when feeling anxiety or fight and flight I need to stop and give myself time to practice breathing
I’m so excited about this meditation
Meditation is always good to do because it helps you relax and stay calm and helps you feel at peace and I love to meditate and pray for peace may the lord bring you peace I’ve noticed that when I meditate I don’t feel as stressed anymore because I don’t like being stressed out during the night because a stressful day deserves a restful night and yes I love to be in my bed my room is my happy place I recently lost 2 horses so I am meditating and I feeling like it’s taking it’s toll one died having a colt the other died of an infection and I feel sad today I am grateful for this meditation
