Breathing
I learned it’s amazing how something so simple like taking a deep breath can make sure a difference. Especially because breathing in general is something that comes naturally, it’s just a slightly different type of breath.

Extremely Helpful
This is the most helpful track I’ve listened to on Aura so far. To understand why all the physical symptoms occur helps ease my additional anxiety that often comes with experiencing those symptoms. And to make the connection between the breathing and the parasympathetic nervous system gives me more confidence that the breathing exercise will work. It’s not always easy to slow down my breathing when the grip of anxiety/panic is particularly tight, but when I am able to get to a comfortable breathing pattern, I can feel myself calming down.

The norm
I may have anxiety, but I’m glad to know how my reactions (flight or fight) are built within us for survival. I hope to calm my thoughts with meditation and focus on my goals. Achievement is within reach, but anxiety isn’t necessary and derails me from accomplishing my goals. Inner peace is attainable.

Unwinded
Simply focusing on my breathing really helped me in and my stress levels. Being up late doing homework, losing hours of sleep for school is really hampering me but I feel so much better after this session. I’ll make sure to return to it whenever I feel stressed again.

Dealing with anxiety
I learned that anxiety comes from the fight or flight response in your mind. I realized that I need to calm that down sometimes to help me move along in life to live better. I shouldn't be feeling in a constant fight or flight response going through life and learn how to deal with it.

Anxiety
Just slowing down your breathing helps reduce your bodies response to stress and helps you feel less anxious. It helped when practicing this too.

This really helped me to understand some of the physical aspects of my anxiety...
Listening I was like “yep that’s me. That’s me too! Omg I do that!” My anxiety has been really increased lately so anything to help me understand any part of the “why” and to how to reduce it is helpful

Regaining...
Great tool for dealing with anxiety! We have a natural fight or flight response that is designed to keep us alive by either fighting our adversary or running away to live to fight another day. While it was very Beneficial when we lived with all the dangers in the wild, it is more Detrimental in our domesticated society where we rarely have to physically fight or actually run away. This fight or flight response physically prepares our body to get ready to go to battle and when the battle never happens we are left in an over prepared (anxious) state. This meditation helps us to calm down to a healthier state by focusing on our breathe. I have used this 4 part breathing before with great success. I especially like the moments of holding between inhales & exhales - that is where we can really experience the Calmness of the ‘Now’! Best of Luck using this tool to regain your composure!! 💚👍🏼🍀

Anxiety
Breathing through the anxious times can be beneficial and access the parasympathetic system. But sometimes, it just gets so bad I have to breath into a paper bag to help alleviate the anxiety.
