Our conditioned habit of resisting life's moments (including our own selves) is the source of much of our stress & suffering. Thus, acceptance is one of the foundational attitudes of mindfulness allowing us to meet ourselves & each other as we are. In cultivating acceptance, we put the welcome matt out for the soul to be free. Let's do this!

Cultivating Acceptance
When I take the time to scan my whole body, I realize that there are so many sensations and feelings (body and mind) that are usually in the background during my day. The common phrase "it is what it is" could mean "i don't care" to many. I choose to think of it as an opportunity to acknowledge, understand and then accept it. This meditation brings that to the forefront.

Today
Life’s too precious and it’s sudden changes happen instantly without empathy or love. Love each moment well. Even in bad times cling to faith and life.

Acceptance
I have learned that allowing myself to accept where I am at, how I am feeling is key in letting my body heal. Not judging just letting it be and take it one slow breath at a time.

Feeling is Healing!
I love that phrase that was used - feeling is healing. So often I don't want to feel the negative stuff, so I resist or ignore it. It's a good reminder to suspend judgment on emotions and just acknowledge them for what they are.

Something new but old
I'm use to acknowledge but it was a bit difficult this time around. I think because I have a lot of mixed emotion. But I'll always remember that welcome mat. I loved this session.

Cultivating Acceptance
It’s a practice that I think I’ve always done. But being more aware about it and acknowledging this practice makes me appreciate my emotions, good and bad. And appreciate myself, good and bad.

I learned that
despite my expectations, mindfulness is not just about training the mind to be something it’s not. It is also about acknowledging accepting how we are in the present moment, and giving some form of validation to that.

Accepting the mind
I learned it is possible to be judgemental about my thoughts but that it is also possible to cultivate an acceptance of even that judgment.

Emotions
It’s ok to feel the emotions. It’s good to accept what you’re feeling.

Losing the mind
I need to get myself outside of my own mind. When conflict arises, I get stuck, my mind takes over, I feel as if I've lost myself to one single thought or problem.

Acceptance
I gave acceptance to how I felt, any thoughts or judgement. Accepting oneself as I am. My entire being as I am. Not trying to change anything.

I loved this meditation on acceptance! Accepting the body, mind and emotions is challenging, but this was a very good guide to the process of doing so.

Acceptance
Accepting the way I’m feeling is not always something that I think to do. Once I do it though, I feel so much better and it helps me to remember that it’s ok to feel the way I feel. Eventually everything will work itself out. There is no need to feel pressure. God is in control. Now I can go on with me day. Taking deep breathes to remind myself that I’ll be ok.

Acceptance
I learned that it’s OK to be emotional. A lot of times my mind wanders too many things and I’m hard on myself about that for some odd reason. It’s OK to be emotional and it’s OK to have wandering mind and embracing it instead of bashing myself for it.

Morning mindfullness
It was hard to concentrate this morning. I really wanted to listen and enjoy since it was accepting of mindfullness however that did not happen. I felt like I was not giving enough attention to what she was saying but then maybe that was the point...to receive being mindful is not perfect and that I should have no expectations. Would like to try this one again at work today.

Mindfulness
To check-in with my body and see what sensation I’m feeling; whether that be a tired feeling, happy etc. I also learned to check in with my mind and emotions.

Day 6 - 2018
I learned that in order to reach a place of serenity, one must accept the things they cannot change and adapt to being comfortable with accepting that some things cannot be changed to please individuals. We can’t let that get in the way of reaching a place of complete peace.

I accept
It learned that it’s okay if I’m in a bad place right now just accept it because I’m in the process of growing and healing. It won’t always be like this.

Learning...
I learned that it is ok to feel as you do and to think as you think and accept what you accept and not to worry about how others judge it is their perception not yours.

Accept your emotions
I learned that acceptance is the greatest achievement. We should accept our emotions as well as our physical and mental state of of our body. Acknowledging the fact is most. This will help in generating mindfulness 😌

Cultivating acceptance
Healing is feeling. How is my body feeling right now. Just acknowledge and accept. How is my mind feeling right now. Acknowledge and accept. What are my emotions right now. Acknowledge and accept. There is no right or wrong. There is only what is. Acknowledge and accept

It took the seven minutes but I got there!
At first my acceptance kept switching with resignation. But as the meditation continued, I found myself less resentful towards myself, and the resignation faded... right around where we were guided to smile at our thoughts 😄

Radical Acceptance
I’m a firm believer in the healing power of radical acceptance, but getting there is such a delicate process. This helped me get on that road.

Acceptance
In any given moment, we create suffering for ourselves when we do not accept what is. Resisting what is, we do not allow ourselves to be in the flow of life. We begin to judge and then realize that we are judging and get on ourselves for judging. But, judging our judgmental mind only creates more suffering for us. In this powerful meditation, Jaisa has us bring awareness to our body, mind and soul and in doing so, cultivate acceptance in what we find. Bringing awareness to my body and its various parts, I felt neutral sensations as well as not so pleasant sensations. Accepting these sensations for what they were, I turned my focus to my mind. Becoming aware of my thoughts, I noticed that a few were of my upcoming day. Accepting these thoughts for what they were, I brought awareness to the feelings and emotions that were present. Allowing these feelings and emotions to be, I acknowledged them for what they were. Bringing awareness to my body, mind and soul, I accepted me for me. When we deny unpleasant sensations, we miss the messages that our body may be telling us. When we deny unpleasant thoughts, we miss the opportunities for growth. And, as Jaisa profoundly says, when we deny our emotions, we deny our soul. Thus, acceptance of what is, however it is, is the key to having a balanced and peaceful life. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
