Using quiet counting can be really helpful to keep the mind on the breath, and gain the calming, soothing effect of staying with the breath. Counting gives the mind a bit more to do so it makes it a bit easier - and it doesn't matter a bit if you only get to 2, just start again!

I discovered that counting the breath is actually distracting for me. I become much calmer and centered by simply focusing on my breathing.

At first, I felt like her voice was kinda too fast for me but this feeling got away. I really liked the counting at the end of every exhale, it helped me to stay focused on each and every breath, so that my mind wonโ€™t wander.
