So relaxing and peaceful
I can be positive even when I'm feeling so flat, being a mum of a 4 year old and pregnant again it can be a stressful time and very tiring but it's so nice to take the time out to just breath and listen to positive speaking ❤️

Help with Depression and Anxiety...thank you Aura!!
Finally the right app! Been searching for so long and tried various others for depression and anxiety, but then today amazingly I found Aura! It feels like the right one for me right now. It does help with relaxation...and I have only just begun. I pray this keeps giving the calmness and motivation I need to fight through those really tough times. Will post again as I continue using it. So far so good 🙂

Even three minutes is so worth it.
I've been binging on sugar for the past few days. I know that it serves as an escape and puts a veil between me and the truth. But even this three minute meditation helped me get to the other side. It felt so good.

So grateful for mindfulness meditation!!
In struggling with the emotional roller coaster of depression and anxiety along with some major life stressors, the moments I take for myself with my Aura meditations have helped more than I ever could have imagined! At the beginning focus can be difficult...but it didn't take long before it happened...all of a sudden, without even realizing, it just got easier, for that I am truly grateful!

I tried this app because I needed something to help me deal with stress and sadness. I need to focus on myself more and to be aware of what’s hurting. This breathing lesson sort of helped, it just made me feel relaxed and it made me forgot about my problems for a second. I was focusing on my self and my breathing rather than what was happening in reality.

As a dancer counts are important, at times especially for an instructor counts are most helpful for dancers learning and remembrance of movement. In dance we often have to remind ourselves to breathe with our movement. How miraculous is it that this technique can not only be integrated into everyday life but also into my movement as a dancer and instructor.

My first meditation on 11/17/17
I used to have the app headspace and wanted to get back into meditation. It's a Friday night before I have an important swim meet tomorrow. Hopefully this meditation can help me get a better sense of mind and mood this season that will help me both in the pool and in my everyday life. This meditation taught me how to concentrate on my breathing in specific areas of the body in order to dissolve from the world around me and focus primarily on me.

I hope I continue to journal in this app bc apparently journaling is a life saver and something that I need to do! Happy Sunday- it’s the week before my birthday- I will be 38- hoping to change my life that has been overtaken by laziness- trying to be the best person I can be. Peacefulness
I learned that it was possible to be completely still, relaxed, completely silent. Usually my mind is crowded with many, many thoughts about everything, but throughout this meditation, I did not think a single thought. It's as if my pool of thoughts was still, not a single wave or ripple. I felt totally relaxed, like nothing could ever go wrong. I was imagining that I couldn't move my body, even if I tried. I was, at last, calm. I learned what peace felt like.

I feel relaxed and focused. My brain feels awake. Scott’s snoring woke me up. It’s 5:30 am. I woke up thinking I should try that egg thing that is Oprah’s favorite thing this year. I also woke up thinking I should start boxing up Christmas presents to send. I have a long way to finish on the Afghans I am making. I feel like they won’t really like them, the way I used to feel when my grandma ‘s made me one. However, i like doing it and maybe they will remember me from them and I don’t feel like I will know or care about it when I am gone.

Understanding the aura
I really focused on activating my energy in this exercise. I felt me energy pulse on my nose and flow in my chest. It helped me balance my breathing to my entire body and really activated my aura. When it was close to three minutes a felt aware of the room in a new way. My aura felt the room before I saw. It gave me feedback before I knew. Overall. A good way to remember how my activated aura felt.

Meditation 1
I have learned that losing things you love to have or own after a disaster is hard to overcome from all the hard work you put into owning the place or things and calling it home! I feel out of place at the moment from the separation of my home and children to only try to pick up the pieces and move on. The shock is over now it’s time to come back to reality that you’re feeling numb and unable to control your surroundings feeling vulnerable, weak, helpless although you have people who do want to help you if they can.

Waking up early
I learned that ☺️... I am not aware of my breathing, usually. It feels good to take a seat, and lifting your back up with your spine, to take mindful breaths. I’m also awake at 5 in the morning today, and I like how quiet it is around me. I learned also that mindfulness is about being aware of what is happening. I think that is a good thing to be aware of. Consistently ignoring your reality leads to uneasiness! Do the opposite.

Everything has beauty, even the tragic and mundane. Something as simple as a plastic box designed to make noise when someone is at your door was created by someone. Everything I touch maybe had someone who put love into it, and is therefore a part of them. In that way, I can connect with everyone through the objects I interact with. There are supposedly six degrees of separation in interpersonal connection, but what about objects. How many degrees of objects are there between people

First day: humility
I learned that meditation doesn’t take much time. The 3 minutes went by really fast and my body is very relaxed. I had some time to think about Candace and how she told me about how she and grant fight. I don’t fight like her but that doesn’t make me any better than she is. I think that might be my problem. I subconsciously think I am better and that is not ok. Lord, please show me how to extend grace to Candace. Please show me to be humble. I am not better than she is. We are just different and that’s is just fine. Thank you Lord for peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

This was a very peaceful thought. 💛🌿

Breathing
Learnt that something’s just observing our breathing in a quiet and meditative state can help one calm down and relieves stress. I think I will adopt this when next I m feeling stress. Even if it is 10 seconds of deep breaths

Very relaxed 😌
I was super tense and stressed before doing this and it really helped me to calm down! I feel very relaxed and I feel really good. I look forward to doing this again.
