I love any meditation that has nature a part of it. Although I was not outside since it is winter I still felt connected to nature even indoors.

Winter with wind chill in double digits below zero
Even tho this is a meditation while sitting outside - I didn't realize that until after starting it and had already settled in for the night- I might have sat outside in the cold to listen to the winter sounds, smell the winter smells, and feel the winter breeze (for 3 mins:) But instead imagined being at camp during the summer. Maybe I'll try it again on a warmer winter day.

It's freezing out now even in the southern states.. I'm an outside person so liked focusing on outdoors. I found it relaxing, peaceful focusing on the sun &sounds of outdoors.

Although it was heavily focused on focusing on the outdoors and meditating outdoors while I’m in a place with negative temperatures with wind chill, I learned that focusing on things that are real and tangible is very helpful and calming.

So easy to feel relaxed with feeling touch and smell, things that were familiar to me as a kid that I take for granted now. The smell of a warm spring day, sitting in the grass, hearing birds and a slight wind will always be my perfect memory for relaxation

Im grateful for my cat who’s sitting right next to me during this meditation, for the trees and flowers that I’ve grown, for the soft wind that’s blowing, the perfect warmth outside and the little berries staining the ground from not being picked up when it was time. Nature is all around me and i need to notice it far more often 🐾🌳🌈
