There is always time to appreciate your surroundings and this mindful moment lets you do just that. Both eyes closed and open it gives you the opportunity to pour love into the world.
I love any meditation that has nature a part of it. Although I was not outside since it is winter I still felt connected to nature even indoors.
Winter with wind chill in double digits below zero
Even tho this is a meditation while sitting outside - I didn't realize that until after starting it and had already settled in for the night- I might have sat outside in the cold to listen to the winter sounds, smell the winter smells, and feel the winter breeze (for 3 mins:) But instead imagined being at camp during the summer. Maybe I'll try it again on a warmer winter day.
Focus on Outdoors- Sights&Sounds
It's freezing out now even in the southern states.. I'm an outside person so liked focusing on outdoors. I found it relaxing, peaceful focusing on the sun &sounds of outdoors.
Connecting With Nature
Although it was heavily focused on focusing on the outdoors and meditating outdoors while I’m in a place with negative temperatures with wind chill, I learned that focusing on things that are real and tangible is very helpful and calming.
Even when trapped inside, if you focus on physical sensations, your mind can take you anywhere in your past and allow you to refeel those same sensations now.
So easy to feel relaxed with feeling touch and smell, things that were familiar to me as a kid that I take for granted now. The smell of a warm spring day, sitting in the grass, hearing birds and a slight wind will always be my perfect memory for relaxation
Gratitude from nature
I learned to slow down and appreciate nature. To let go and let nature take its course.
Im grateful for my cat who’s sitting right next to me during this meditation, for the trees and flowers that I’ve grown, for the soft wind that’s blowing, the perfect warmth outside and the little berries staining the ground from not being picked up when it was time. Nature is all around me and i need to notice it far more often 🐾🌳🌈
I can feel the raindrops hitting my face. Very cool, but not unpleasant. It is good to be outside.
I love nature and how I feel when I take the time to connect with nature 🍀☘️🌿🌹
I sort of cheated and sat near the window, that looks out to my backyard. I can hear the birds chirping, wind rustling, and the grass looking yellow, from the light of the sun. I’m grateful for this beautiful 75 degree weather and I’m grateful that I spent part of my day outside. Grateful to feel the sun warm my dark hair and the wind giving a gentle breeze.
Crows, 10 outside, winter storm advisory, and flu
curled up inside in a nook by the garden window with the flu, I could only hear a crow over the rattling of the heating system, and the whoosh of forced air, but just closing my eyes and focusing on environmental sounds helped me have my me time.
I learned that Connecting with Nature is connect with your inner insight, a way to find peace and love.
It’s February in Central NY. No way I was going outside today, but I had begun the practice already, so I ran with it. My wife randomly singing a silly song filled in for birds chirping, and my office walls are green. That made for the grass and trees. I used my imagination and was able to relax for a bit; even though I couldn’t be outdoors.
I liked paying attention to what I could hear. The birds. To what I could feel. The breeze in my face and my doggies pulling on their leads. Then I liked the ending. I looked around to see five things I am grateful for. My dogs. The fields. The trees. The sky. Hanna’s house. Thank you
Be grateful of what you have, listing 5 things made me think of that.
I must relax more and more often in the nature, because then you get the Little things in your mind again
Connecting with nature
This meditation was perfect as we ended February on a warm note and I was able to be outside this evening. Listening to the birds and seeing the buds form on the trees. Spring is coming and it’s my favorite time of year. Relaxing outside is my favorite place to meditate.
Randomly was able to enjoy this meditation while at the beach with family and friends. So nice to experience the sights, sounds, and smells so deeply.
I felt very uplifted
I learned that taking a moment in my day to just realize what I have around me is wonderful
Being and connecting with nature is the root of my meditations. I find that I am the happiest when I am with nature. Listening to the sounds of the creek, listening to the birds singing their beautiful songs, watching the squirrels collect nuts. Nature is right there for us to enjoy.
Connecting With Nature
I just finished a walk through my neighborhood so I could relate to what I had just experienced....coolish temperatures, a chickadee singing, trees and shrubs hoping for sunshine, two other neighbors braving the cold, and a few robins. Yes, I connected with nature and am grateful for my walk.
It was actually so agreable, I surprised myself not wanting the closed-eyes plus breathing time to stop even after the end of the session
Connecting w nature 🌿🌸
Oh it is such a BEAUTIFUL day! I just finished a yoga practice and to end it w this lovely meditation on such a beautiful day was amazing. The sun is out, the trees are dancing w the wind and people are laughing. We’ve got to be thankful for these beautiful days and turn them into such a beautiful life. I feel so grounded and so happy 🌲
Connecting with Nature
Being that it’s cold and snowy outside, I opted to do this meditation inside because I thought this was going to be a meditation like some offered that have the sounds of birdsong, water or other nature. I was sorely disappointed. This doesn’t work well inside on a cold, grey snowy day.
Nature is my happy place
I did this meditation outside in my backyard. I love connecting with nature. I love the smells, sights, and quiet. Nature brings me back to a peaceful place. It restores my sanity..lol! If you don’t have time to go for a walk out in the woods this meditation is a wonderful time out.
Another perfect moment
Very relaxing meditation, perfectly what I needed while enjoying another beautiful day on my front patio. It’s nice to be listening and observing at the same time even though there are lots of cars passing by. I just looked up at the tall Sycamore trees, one of my favorite and noted how special they are to me and all the past memories associated with them. Thanks 🙏
Relax ,Breathe,& Exhale Slowly
This is a great meditation in which you go outside and connect with nature. By becoming aware of your senses in your surroundings, you can become grateful.
In this moment, I am thankful to be outside. I am thankful for hearing birds chirping. I am thankful for feeling a cooler breeze hit my skin. I am thankful for smelling fresh air. I am thankful for seeing new blooms on a calla lilly. Most of all, I am thankful I have all of my senses so that I can become fully aware of my surroundings. Have a beautiful day everyone! 🙏🏻❤️😊
Peaceful effective meditation
I found this meditation to be very effective in noticing the life and nature around me, even living in the city. It was very peaceful to take in.
One with Nature
In today’s lesson I learned that being out in nature is a very beautiful, serene place. Sitting outside made me think about how grateful I am for being able to go outside and enjoy the beauty of nature and all the living things in it. Everybody should go out once in awhile it’ll make you feel better and it will energize you
I learned that we should appreciate how beautiful nature and Earth is💖
When I have my AirPods in my ear listening to guided meditations, I cannot hear nature sounds around me. 🎧
