Connecting to Wisdom
This was a wonderful โ€œfirst meditation after the holidaysโ€ for me to do. I was actually very anxious and had a lot of built up tension, especially in my shoulders and neck. At the end of the meditation, I felt my third eye vibrate and grow warm. It was amazing and I still feel the after effects. I really appreciate this meditation, thank you ๐ŸŒฟ

After a quick body scan to relax my body, I became aware of my breath. Feeling the sensations of this body breathing on its own, I am filled with amazement. How does this body know how to breathe on its own anyways? As I went back to allowing my breath to be as it was, without striding to make it more, a freedom of acceptance emerged. Following Jaisaโ€™s lead, I acknowledged wisdom held in each area of my body by sensing the aliveness within each area. Beginning at my feet and moving upwards to my mindโ€™s eye and brain, I began to acknowledge the wisdom held within. Connecting with this wisdom held in every cell and organ, I began to sense and connect with my spirit. Going back to my breath, I thanked myself for connecting my mind, body and spirit. As I go about my day, I will be mindful of my breath and of sensations occurring within so I may connect with the wisdom of my spirit anytime I want. Connecting to our spirit is always available to us. All we need to do is connect with our breath and then sense the aliveness, from head to toe, that is always present in our body.
