This self-advocacy practice is a reminder that you do have the right to ask for what you need. It is designed to be used before a meeting, conversation, or event where you expect to be self-advocating, but can also be used daily if that reminder that it's OK for you to exist and need what you need is something that you need at this moment in your life. This practice is designed for self-advocacy in health and disability accommodation contexts, and also to untangle any internalised ableism that you need to let go of. Accessibility: This practice does involve some stepping, wheeling, or moving in and out of a space in front of you.
