Focusing on breathing.
I learned that I really enjoy the variety of meditations on Aura. 😊 I learned how nice it is to just be present on focus my breath moving in and out of my body. I also learned that it’s helpful for me to use my inner voice and coax my attention back to my breath and even encourage myself and give appreciation for my efforts (rather than just having those intentions). 😊

How much we carry
It's crazy how many things we can carry in our minds thinking that we must control everything and do our best in all times. It's ok if we fail, it's ok if we don't know everything. The world will still be there and life will go on. Every time I stop to take a deep breath and stop thinking about everything or trying to have all under control the world is still there and everything is fine. It's all gonna be ok.

I learned that breath is a beautiful and powerful thing, often underestimated. It has the power to center and focus oneself. We often ignore our breathing as it is an unconscious effort, but the power found within concentrating your attention on the breath is a strength like no other. A very useful tool in life.

I have never concentrated so much on my breath to the point where I didn't have any thoughts. I simply felt calmed, relaxed, and the presence of myself. Nothing else at all.

To be honest, I used to think that when going through the 5 Stages of Grief, you’d go through them in the order we know them to be. Now I realize that you can relapse back to a previous stage. I constantly feel as though I am going back and forth between anger and depression all the time.

Everything in life is about the breath. When I’m anxious I hold my breath. I love that she said the breath is an anchor. Many times I feel like a ship in the throes of a dark storm- and forget the power I have - I can’t control the outside events- but I must not allow them to control me. I have the anchor and it is within me- breath.

I’m always so unfocused, and always so tense, that I worry myself so much, imagine things that do not happen, and I feel that I’m scared all the time or that I have to keep trying harder, and push myself more and more until I finally lose it again, and that was scares me the most and this made me have more control over myself and relaxed for just a little time

I love that line. At times my whole being is blissful, breathing in the fresh air, remembering my mother’s love, playing tag with our son and dogs and a simple kiss from a smiling husband. I choose to remember those small things when life is hard.

Today for the first time I was totally absorbed in just concentrating on breathing in and out. Sometimes I counted the in and out breaths, other times I just mentally said breath in, breath out. I feel centered and ready to start my day. If I have stress today I will remember to self sooth myself with my breath.

I do my sessions before I go to bed, and tonight I decided to take a nice, hot bath and do my meditation. This is the first time that I felt truly focused on my breath. Maybe it was the incredibly hot water? Either way tonight‘s meditation was very fulfilling.

I woke feeling incredibly anxious, my stomach in knots and heart pounding. Just focusing on my breath coming in and going out did reduce some of anxious feelings. This is a useful skill to have in your back pocket for those moments of panic that crop up.

This key statement in this meditation really inspired me to realize that even when things are crazy around you, you have a long to do list, and everything seems to be out of whack… Your breath is always there for you as a reminder that your body is working the way it should, and that your breath is always there for you. Grace the drawing board of my mind with the sponge of my breath. Using my breath to gently clean and release. I’ve heard if you put a note somewhere to remind yourself of something you only truly see it the first day- after that your efficient mind skims over it as familiar. It’s feel renewed focus to start fresh and re-write/redraw what i want on my mind’s whiteboard for the day. What a great image. Namaste

This helped me a lot to concentrate on things that are important than things that are not important. I learned that I should have self- control of myself. I should focus on one thing to fully work into it, instead of working on multiple projects and not being able to concentrate fully. This also helped me realise that when I am concentrating on too many things I should just breathe and bring my attention to the breathing. This will help me a lot when I stressed out..

It can be difficult for me to just focus on breathing. Its one of the reasons all of the meditation has been helpful- its training my mind. I like doing breathing while I'm running or during yoga because there is a physical aspect. Maybe this makes sense as I am a kinesthetic learner and doer.

It’s a struggle
Concentrating is one of the things that I can barely do. Oftentimes, I am distracted by anything, even the littlest sounds. It’s so hard to just put everything in the background and mute every distracting sound. It was hard! To think that my main goal here is to observe myself breathe properly. But sure enough, in life, it’s like that. It’s so hard to concentrate on things that matter especially when there are so many distractions around us and within us. However, what I’ve learned in this meditation is that you can always try. You may not get it right the first time, you may not be able to concentrate be it on your breathing or on the things you have to do first, but you can always try. That’s better than letting yourself be carried away by this raging river of distractions and drown. 😂 So try, one step at a time. Thank you for this learning. Namaste 🙏

I loved this short breathing meditation
I really loved this short breathing meditation. I know some people can feel the temperature of the air as they breath in and out, but I don’t. I tried to focus on the sound of myself breathing and the air filling my lungs instead.
