We might think that we can cheat others and get away with it, but can we really? Do they really not realise?

College students cheating
This was a nice story illustrating one of the risks you run when you try to cheat in life. I admired the clever way the professor taught the lesson! My mom was a stickler about the truth and told me very early on that I’d better never lie to her. Trust is so important in any kind of relationship. Another cost not evident in the story is loss of self-respect.

What I learned:
DON’T try to lie your way out of a test in school...especially if it’s an ethics class, like this one sounded to be!🤣

Integrity
This story highlighted what happens when you are caught cheating, but even when you aren’t, there is a toll caused by such behavior. Rather than your reputation being ruined with others, it is ruined within yourself. It’s far better to pay the price of I’ll-preparedness in the moment rather than exacerbating the situation.

Wiser
Lying and cheating may seem like a great idea and an excellent way out of being caught in trouble at the time but, no matter who you are or how smart you think you are—there will eventually be someone wiser than you, you will be found out and will have proven yourself to be untrustworthy from that day forward. Something to consider, perhaps beforehand. Great story, full of wisdom.

Cheating
So be upfront and honest. Do the work. Be prepared. Because cheating to perform a task or work or test will never actually give you success. You will need what you should have learned when you cheated your way out of it later

Cheating
I learned that cheating never pays off and no matter how hard you lie through it, people will soon find out.

College Students Try to Cheat Their Professor
I am definitely a fan of Jiva Masheder’s little fables because I find that I’m almost more open to receiving the moral of the story if it’s just that - a story. I believe that I subconsciously pay more rapt attention when listening to an enjoyable little tale as opposed to when I’m trying to focus my attention on a meditation.
