Choosing...
Whether we choose healthy habits or destructive habits heavily depends upon how we look at and feel about ourselves as well as our view of the world around us. Because of this, we all cope differently when we experience a barrage of emotions. In this profound meditation, we get in touch with the one who always knows what is best for us, our higher self. In doing so, we feel the love and hear the wisdom that our higher self provides for us. In feeling and hearing our higher self, we make an intention to choose more healthy habits rather than destructive ones. Feeling the weight of my body on the chair, I began to focus on my breath. Feeling my breath in my body, I counted my inhale until I reached to a count of 5. Seeing a table in front of me, I sat down and saw two bowls. Looking at what was in the bowl to the right, I saw an array of fresh fruit. Inviting to my eyes, I choose to pick up a mandarin. Peeling the rind, I began to smell the tartness of the fruit. Putting a section in my mouth and biting down, the juices exploded in my mouth. Knowing that this mandarin was nourishing my body, I felt so good. Looking at the bowl on the left, I immediately noticed the the fruit was heavily spoiled. Knowing that this fruit would potentially be destructive to my body, I chose not to eat any. Going within my heart center, I got in touch with my higher self. Feeling the warmth of love while listening to her wisdom, I knew the things I do that is good for me and I also know of a few things that aren’t so good for me. Connecting to her courageous manner, I set the intention to choose more healthy habits rather than destructive ones. We have a choice in what we allow into our body, mind and soul. Choosing healthy foods will nourish our body. Choosing to entertain positive thoughts will nourish our mind. With our body and mind nourished and empowered, we will be on track to living our true and authentic self each and every day! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
