Neutral
You don't have to always be happy you can just be neutral and that's ok

That's is about to be a breathe!
Just when I thought I'd mastered it all, I take another breath and exhale. Joyful and eager. I know there is more enlightening to come.

3 minutes...
I learned that even 3 minutes can make a difference. It’s harder to say “I don’t have time” when all you need is 3 minutes...

Reminders
I'm a choir teacher in my first year and this was a good reminder of how belly breathing feels! I also learned that deeper breathing can have an effect on your nervous system.

Starting 3 mins of meditation.
Feeling relaxed and calm a good start but 3 mins are too short for a daily guidance.

Breathing
It’s hard to control your breathing, it’s a strange sensation that involves more of my brain than I realized. I never noticed how strange it is before.

Take A Moment Monday 11-20-17
Is this anything like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time? LOL! This involves your your chest and belly but I’m not coordinated soI need to practice with this meditation. I really liked it and even though it was a meditation, it had me giggling because of my lack coordination on my part, sort of like dancing. I’ll come back. Have a good day, Everyone!

Breathing
I learned that I breathe more through my belly than my lungs. This exercise showed me how to breathe from there too.

Control
Controlling your breathing gives you a sense of control. It gave me a sense of pure calmness that helped me stop my heart from beating so fast and allowed me to take control of my mind.

Not there yet
This one was more difficult than I would have thought. Felt more frustrating than relaxing but did help wipe away some of the days stress. Want to try this more to get more in tune.

Body Twister
I found this one a little difficult! Thinking while listening and trying to follow instructions, right hand to left chest,... I felt like I was playing body twister while breathing backwards?! I use deep breathing & cleansing breaths during the day to gain focus, calmness and clear my lungs of old air. I focus on pulling my stomach toward my back slowly to squeeze out all the leftover air in my lungs. Then breathe in long and slow thru the nose. 2-3 breathes and I’m good to go!

Breathing
Feeling the breathe move and centring my thoughts on it is very calming. Easier to feel it in the belly for sure.

The pause
The first time I became aware of the natural pause we take between exhaling and inhaling was a profound moment for me. Sounds so ridiculous, but I felt: I neither want nor need anything at this minute- not even air. I just am.

Chest to belly breathing.
I learned that I can manipulate my breath by choosing to exhale through my belly first. This felt very strange and unnatural to me. This meditation kept my attention to the breathing all the way through. No random thinking.

Day 2
I can easily feel relaxed with just a 3 minute pause. Even though I found it not too difficult I did notice I was concentrating pretty hard to ensure I was doing it correctly

Practiced breathing
We mostly breathe in our chests, especially during times of stress. Bring breathe to the belly, for mindfulness.

Day 5 - 2018
I learned that focus is key. Doing daily meditations is an objective of mine, I focus ton making it a daily routine. If I focus on it enough, it’ll come naturally. I must apply this theory to all aspects of life.

It’s all in the belly
I really liked this one! I tend to hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, and I tend to be a chest breather… So belly breathing is something I focus on often, and this meditation made it seem effortless and doable at any point during the day. I like how it broke it down into two parts, I like how it gave muscle identifiers, and I like how it mentioned you can “try this on anytime during the day “which reminded me that meditation is a practice and not something that needs to be scheduled

Focus
Breathing through both my chest and my stomach in one motion took a lot of concentration, but i felt more awake and able to concentrate when I was done

Feeling All Parts Of The Breath
I learned to sense that I can deepen my breath and still separate it into two equally important pieces. Focusing the breath into the belly and allowing the natural rise and fall of my chest brought a sense of ease and fullness to every inhale and exhale. This Reminds me I should be present for my breath and the benefits of this type of breathing throughout my day.
